The Armadillo Hotel Carlsbad — Hotel in Carlsbad

My review changed today since I am at work and my checkout is until tomorrow so I call in to extend for another week and to my surprise they already checked me out and gave my room to a new guy and I am still registered as of now and I'm staying 1 or 2 more months yet someone in charge made a very stupid decision is kicking me out without a call, without an email and without notice that I MUST LEAVE TOMORROW! That is total bullshit and I will place a complaint on that person that decided to make this move which is unacceptable and extremely disrespectful since I've been there for almost 2 weeks and going for 2 more months. This complaint is going to corporation as well. My name is Jesus Guajardo and someone is in deep shit. Instead of sending the new guy to the Armadillo in Orla they decide to send me there when I have all my luggage there, im handicapped ♿️ and registered with veteran affairs which they will be notified as well since I can't be carrying all my heavy equipment just because of a dumb and unethical decision. I AM STILL CHECKED IN! I AM STILL ACTIVE AND MY ROOM IS STILL UNDER CONTRACT WITH YOU! I have never been through this or treated like this no matter which mancamp or hotel I stay at. I am partly disabled and a huge complaint is coming to you guys from you know...

I want this review to be informative and shed light on my experience staying at this specific Hotel. In doing so, I hope to gain the attention of the companies with their employees staying here.

For starters, I have no comments about the staff. My interactions have been neutral. If you are away from your family and friends, you shouldn't have to endure a lack of necessities. The times I have stayed here, hot water that lasts no more than 7 minutes. Some rooms have hot water that lasts longer or shorter, depending on your luck. Getting off from a 12-hour shift, you want to wash the day away, preferably without freezing, especially when the weather is colder outside.

I have learned to avoid the food entirely even though my company pays for it. Too many times have I or my co-workers been sick. The lack of options and quality is almost below that of some prisons in the U.S.

Lastly, I want to address the Wi-Fi. Why do they claim to have the option when it is not even available in most rooms, and if you can't connect, it's slower than dial-up? The rooms block out cell signals, so if you want to reach out to your family and friends, you have better luck doing so...

Very very poor service. I needed to get in contact with them regarding a reservation confirmation for 16 nights that was e-mailed to me with check in today. I haven't made any reservations - I'm in Denmark (Europe) On their website there has been an account created with my email adress, and I see another persons name, phone number and emailadress in the reservation as well as the reservation number. The first time I called them, they picked up, the phone, but hanged up again when I asked them who I talked to. I'm from Denmark, and didn't hear/understand what they said when they first picked up the phone. Afterwards the phone was cut off every time I called them. Since they are not picking up the phone, I have blocked all my, and my wifes creditcards to ensure that they are not getting any money from me in case they are in on this potential scam. All they had to do was to pick up the phone. Online I was able to change the reservation to a single night, but it wasn't possible to cancel the reservation completly, so I'm calling my bank as soon as it opens tomorrow to find out what else I can do.
