The Coachlight RV Park is our 144th stop and we stayed for 3 night. Right at the I-44/49 split behind an rv dealer, in a nice location to go to Carthage, Joplin or Springfield. When making reservations, kind of old school with an email with little information, no confirmation number or payment. We were not provided information at check in but found the rules on the night check in board. Escorted to the site but limited engagement with the staff. The upper part of the park near the office has nice shade trees but these seem to be for longer stays as the lower section had no trees and turned over. Three of the four sides of the park are farm land. The sites were crushed gravel and had a concrete patio and was able to level out quickly. The park is clean and nicely maintained but only issue was lack of information provided on storm shelters. Overall, would rate it a 4.0 and would stay here again if in the area. Connectivity (1 pm): No park WiFi offered. Verizon 25.3 down/0.71 up; T-Mobile 52.7 down/0.37 up.

This is a very nice camp stop. My only complaint about the place is there are no fire pits and some of the sites aren't wide enough for a grill or to open the awning. There are sites that are, though. The employees here are SUPER friendly though, and it's a nice enough stop to warrant the 5 stars I'm giving it. We were planning to go to Grand Falls nearby, but were concerned about parking with the RV. The gentleman there indicated it wasn't a good stop since the tornado a few years back and had directed us to another local site, Red Oaks II, for free touring and pictures. Don't pay attention to the Google map's 360 picture, it got a view of the RV sales place next door. The campground is pleasant and quiet.

Coachlight RV Campground is the best; we keep returning here year after year to visit family and my awesome grade school and high school classmates. Photos were taken from our site of a nearby wooded area. Maple and oak leaves surround the area with orange, yellow and red during the autumn. ...mid to the end of October in the Ozarks.

We stopped on a Saturday night. I called ahead and the person who answered the phone was warm and friendly. They pinned the map and site info outside the office for us as we were coming in after hours. The park is right off the highway and easy to get to. It is located behind their RV dealership and showroom. We wished we had time to walk through the dealership - they had some lovely rigs! We liked that the park was tucked away behind the dealership. It felt private and far from the highway. The park itself was cute. Lovely office/clubhouse area, plenty of trees; well marked, wide asphalt roads and grassy areas that made the park nice to walk through. It felt very safe and although it seemed full, it was very quiet. The site was gravel, very level and had a concrete patio pad along the entire length of the site. It was very pleasant sitting under the awning on our patio and watching the day end. Several people walking dogs walked by us and everyone smiled and said hello. Our site was a pull through as we were towing. We had plenty of room for the toad. The full hook ups were easily accessible and I really liked the pump handle for the water. We didn’t use the showers or restrooms, but the WiFi signal was strong. The Verizon signal was fine too. The staff was friendly the next morning and discussed local breakfast places with us. We would definitely...

We booked a few nights at this rv park in September while we were at a truck show in Joplin. The drive from the RV park to the show was quick and short, as the park is conveniently located right off the highway. It is extremely quiet, peaceful and a pleasant place to stay! All of the campground residents were respectful of the property and their neighbors. There are wooded sites throughout most of the park with plenty of shade. The pads are gravel and decently level. The sites have full hookups for electric, water and sewer. Some sites have picnic tables, some sites have a swing, and some have concrete patios. There are no firepits at the sites, however, they do have a community pit by the office. Pets are welcome, and they have dog stations around the property for waste disposal. The roads are well taken care of and easy to maneuver around. We were easily able to pull in and out of our site with a 63’ combination. There are more open sites for larger rigs and combos as well. We called about a month in advance, they took down our name and when we arrived after hours, they had our site information posted on an after hours board with directions on how to navigate to our site! It was very convenient and helpful! We will definitely be staying here again when we come back for the 2026...

We have stated at park off and on for the last six years, we still own our home in town but have my daughter and family caring for it while we are on the road. My wife is a retired teacher and we come back often for her to substitute. We have had wonderful experience staying in this park until this year, multiple times has the sheriffs department has been called because of disturbance in park. This summer we came back from Texas and they had saved our favorite lot and we got settled in and had planed to stay till January. In July while they were mowing around our Rv a rock cracked my windshield on my truck, because we enjoyed the park and didn’t want problem I just let my auto insurance cover for new one. Next time they mowed a very nice coach beside us got peppered with gravel. When I asked park manager if they might be more careful we were given an eviction notice stating that i was bad mouthing and starting unfounded rumors about the park and was not welcomed. When we spoke to manager all he did was yell and to the point he made my wife cry. Needless to say we left park and will never give good reviews for this park which is sad because we did enjoy until this year. I would never go back...
