We never got a chance to stay there. We arrived with a confirmation email in hand only to find that "there was no room at the inn". Seems even though we received an email with a reservation number and a statement saying your reservation booking was successful, we still had no place to stay. Goofiest thing in the world, owner said we had to receive a phone call before we were confirmed. Claims “scenic lake view porch”…..ya that’s a stretch. The whole town has this creepy tourists trap vibe, like they’re really stretching to call this town a tourists town. Absolutely nothing to do in town! Even the locals tell you nothing to do there. You have to resort to watching TV to kill time….which is a 20” tv have fun seeing it from the couch. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because of the breakfast. Honeybuns and frozen sausage and biscuits are not what I expected for the price. No decaf, so bring your own if that's important. Otherwise, we had the whole house to ourselves and the rooms and common room was very nice. However, it may have been awkward had anyone else we didn't know stayed there.
