Trout Montana — Hotel in Cascade

My 10 year old son and I stayed here last October for a long fishing weekend. It is a very convenient location between Helena and Great Falls in some world renowned fly fishing country. There is a supermarket next door for convenience and it was no problem with Mike to park the truck with the drift boat next to the shop. He was very accommodating and helpful with directing us to best places to eat. Thank you for the Beef and Bone recommendation and even calling and making a reservation for us!||||Rooms are very clean and comfortable... and reasonable. Booked a comfortable (double twin) room for night June 2-3,2017. The location is great for sportsmen with the adjacent Missouri River. Highly recommend taking a side trip (10.9 miles) to Hardy Bridge where the "Canadian Bridge" scene from the Brian DePalma movie "The Untouchables" was filmed in 1986 and actors Kevin Costner and Sean Connery mingled with the locals who came out to see Eliot Ness and his Untouchables crew impound a convoy of bootlegger trucks. To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the movie (first screened nation wide on June 3, 1987), my husband and I ordered a lunch from a restaurant in town and dined at the picnic table overlooking the picturesque Depression-era (1931) bridge and people river rafting down...

My wife and I stayed 2 nights here. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Mike was super friendly and accommodating with some special requests (with drying our camping gear). We are soooo sorry we didn’t book our float through Trout Montana!
