Booked through Groupon for the 1 King Suite, came with 2 continental breakfast passes, $25 to their Castle restraunt, and $25 to their Spa. Thought the booking was for the 'Castle Resort' not the hotel below the resort, but that's my mistake. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone including maintenance to housekeeping was polite and said hello in passing. The suite was a nice size, with fire place, separated bedroom, and full kitchen including pots, pans, flatware, and silverware. Full stove, sink, and dishwasher. Stacked washer and dryer in the bathroom closet. 2 TVs, one in the bedroom and one in living room. The included continental breakfast is oatmeal, fruit, toast, yogurt and drinks (coffee, juice, and water). It's $5/person more for the full breakfast, including scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, French toast, and little pancakes with 3 blueberries each. They're quite precise here. All the food was above average, but nothing spectacular. Just slightly better than your standard hotel breakfast I guess. The hot tub was nice, but the heater for the indoor pool was broken leaving the water quite frigid. They offered passes to the heated outdoor pool at the resort up the hill (typically $15/person) but it was raining, so we declined and just enjoyed the hot tub. The closet in the pool room is deceiving. Pool towels are kept at the front desk, not in the pool room. Something I wish I knew before diving into the pool. Dinner at the Castle was fantastic, but you get what you pay for. Our 2 dinners (Filet Mignon, and Chicken) with 1 appetizer and 1 desert shared, no drinks beyond water, came to $95 with the $25 voucher already taken off. Out the door for $125 w/ tip was what I expected given the atmosphere, and fantastic service from our waitress. She seemed to be the only waitress for 2 dining rooms of 8 tables, we went right at open, but I could see how later in the night service may not be as good. Look up the history of the castle. Quite interesting and I see when the price tag comes from. My girlfriend reports the spa was nice, but fell a little short of the 'resort spa' expectations, given price tag. I write this review halfway through our 2 night stay. Over all a great experience. Little details could make this place 5 stars, but it fell just a little short. However I would not hesitate to recommend this place to friends and family.

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend since we had a Spartan Race in Killington. The location was convenient and the price was affordable. Checking in was easy and the rooms were standard; they were spacious and clean. We had two queen beds, coffee machine, a large TV, and mini fridge. The room was quiet, we didn't hear any of our neighbors. We noticed it was kid-friendly also. I think they definitely get more busy during the winters because of skiing and snowboarding season. There are many mountains and trails nearby. Parking was spacious and the customer service was good. The heated pool area was nice and they had a game room with arcade games and a pool table; there was an iTunes machine but it was down. I noticed a couple of vending machines if you have a snack craving. There's a restaurant onsite but we didn't dine there. The town of Ludlow was a few minutes away and it had plenty of shops and restaurants. Overall, we had a good stay and would definitely stay there again!

We used a groupon for a weekend getaway reserving a suite. We purchased a single night separately and they upgraded us to the suite for all three nights as it is off season for the hotel. The suite is the way to go as it apears the other section of the hotel is in need of a remodel. Our room was very clean and the gas fireplace was a welcome surprise. The heating units are very loud so the fireplace is mostly what we used. Staff was very friendly all weekend. We got a spa credit and dinner at the "castle" with the groupn. We did not eat there but did use the spa. Glad we had a credit...we booked a couples massage. The massage was wonderful however the "spa" was in need of an upgrade. My husband and I had to share a locker even though there were seperate changing areas. You have to walk through the check in area in your robe to go upstairs to the waiting area. And most areas had security cameras. It made it a little uncomfortable for me..maybe not for everyone. The mens locker room had no soap or lotion and only one shower. The womens room had no soap, conditioner and there was water damage on the ceiling that had mold on it above one of the two showers. No lotion or other toiletries available either, other then a wall hair drier. Now this is a small spa but it was pretty disappointing. Like i said the massage was wonderful so that saved the day. My husband did mention that there was no soap and the girl at the desk just laughed and said " well it's hard for us to get in there." Also he asked about lotion and she pointed in the direction of some samples by the door. The other girl working just stood there. I would hope durring their busy season they treat their guests better. However I don't feel like that should be an excuse. If the opportunity arrised again it would be a hard pass to the spa and a maybe...

Went to this hotel this past weekend for my birthday. Firstly, the pictures on the website are mostly of the castle and not of the pointe, so it is misleading. The rooms are outdated and dirty. When we arrived, my husband went to take a shower and there was long black hair all over the shower walls. The jacuzzi jets are shut off & the jets were also loaded with more hair. If that wasn’t disgusting enough, there were mens underwear in the garbage can. Then the bottom of our bed sheets under the covers were covered in blood. The outlets only half worked. The top part of the outlet worked, but the bottom didn’t. There were not outlets near the bed, so you had to plug your phone in and lay it on the floor or leave it in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was spotty. The towels were not white, so you know they aren’t bleaching them. There was no room service. If you needed anything you had to go to the front desk to get it. We came back to the hotel one night after dinner and the floor was pitch black. There was no nightlights or anything. You could not see a thing. Thank goodness for cell phone flashlights to guide us to our room. The parking lot was also a sheet of ice. I also received an email to call and book a spa appointment. I emailed immediately and I didn’t receive a response. I called them and they said they had no availability, literally minutes after they emailed me. Why email if you have no appointments. After seeing how filthy this place was, I was happy I didn’t book a massage at the spa. For the price price of this hotel, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. This has to be one of the dirtiest and outdated hotels I’ve ever stayed out. Definitely ruined our...
