Disappointed with service! Two dogs were scheduled for full grooming. They called us to pick up one of the dogs before he was groomed and charged us almost full price for an incomplete grooming (he received only a bath and nail clipping). It seems they weren't able to harness the dog properly and he kept slipping out of the harness so they apparently gave up and decided to take a break before their next client, and called us to pick him up (two hours ahead of scheduled time--very inconvenient). Their attitude was kind of snotty as the owner insisted it was their "policy" to charge for an incomplete grooming! They refused to lower the price. June 18,19,20, 2022: they did not call me back after I called multiple times and sent an email. When I dropped by at 12:30 whe i was in the area, the place was closed and a sign on the door said they would be back at 3 pm. How can dogs be left if they have a day care operation and aren't there for 3 hours. That is no way to run a pet facility. Willow farms in No Springfield has staff always there and they always answer their phone. I thought this new place was being run by a new couple. This is no way to make a good first impression. We wanted to ski at Okemo for a day but needed somewhere to leave our dog. We found Paw Lodge online and felt comfortable with them right from the start. They were quick to respond and required all the paperwork that we would have expected them to ask for. Kori, who met us when we arrived, was great! She even allowed us to pick Kona up early when our plans changed. Kona clearly had a blast playing with the other dogs and left thoroughly tuckered out. Wish Paw Lodge was closer to home as I would definitely take her there regularly....
