Consumer BEWARE! We paid for 2 rooms for 4 nights stay. Our children’s room was broke into and their electronics and clothing items and hygiene items were stolen. Had to file a report with the local law enforcement agency.
Was greeted by the desk attendant and told happy hour was from 5-7pm. Took a shower came down for the happy hour. They have on display several types of beers and many types of liquor. I tried to order three different types of beers they had on display and all that was available was two types.
They have a Starbucks sign and machines but apparently no barista to run the counter and make drinks so they place a coffee trough out with some half and half where the Starbucks is located.
Posters of this luxurious bistro in the hotel but it was never opened for three nights we stayed and only had sack lunches and sack breakfast in a cart in the lobby.
The credit card charging system appears to be an issue in itself. They run your card at check in for the entire amount of your stay and then they continue to charge your card each day you are there for the amount of your stay. They never release the charges so be sure if you use a credit card it has a 10k or more balance because they are going to max that baby out for you in about 3 days time even if you don’t charge anything to the room.
The beds are wonderful if your kids like to jump at the trampoline park but if you are looking for a cozy mattress to rest on… well sleep on the floor your back will thank you later or sleep on the bed and count how many springs poke you in the back and buttocks region.
If you run into the cleaning services manager I recommend steering clear from her. After having our room raided we asked that our rooms not be serviced until we check out and was scolded by the cleaning manager. She called my fiancé an “entitled white Bitch” and probably has a voo-doo doll in her laundry room.
I wish you the best of luck here. If you expect to get a return call from the owners or management staff, that’s not going to happen either. Just know you...
Read moreWe had a good stay. Beds are comfy and the sheets were very clean! The hotel is nice and easy to navigate. Location is awesome due to its access to 77. Checkin and check out are super when you use the Bonvoy app.
My complaints:
We arrived to check in last night and get our key cards at around 11:30PM. We were greeted by a very angry man who proceeded to tell us that he has been waiting for 30 minutes for someone to help him, and then gestured to the sign on the desk saying that the attendant will be right back. I am usually a very understanding person, so I had no problem waiting a few more minutes. The angry man showed us that the hotel a few minutes away had rooms open, but we had already reserved a room online, and it was nonrefundable. My husband and I proceeded to wait 30 more minutes, to no avail. We called the phone, no answer. We shouted to ask if anyone was available. No answer. It was around 12:15AM, and we were very tired from our long drive. My husband then walked into the back and tried knocking on the doors to see if anyone was there to help us. No answer. There were key cards with our last name on them sitting on the desk, so we just took them and went. I was very disappointed by this, because I would’ve found a different hotel, but I reserved the rooms online, and the stay was nonrefundable; however, I’m sure this was a one time thing. The other reviews seem to be glowing about the service and staff.
We then got into our room, and when I walked into the bathroom, I noticed there was a lot of visible/easy to clean off black mold in the shower.
I booked the room knowing this, but I must admit that I was also a bit disappointed that there was no complimentary breakfast. I have stayed in much cheaper hotels that offer good complimentary breakfast.
Other than these things, our stay was very enjoyable. We got great sleep and woke up feeling...
Read moreI thought it would be a nice place to stay since the hotel was new. The rooms were nice and clean. My issue with this hotel is with a suitcase with 6 pairs of my shoes were stolen along with other items in the suitcase. Due to me being in the military on a mission, I didn’t wear my civilian shoes that week. I kept the suitcase in the closet. I noticed my suitcase was missing when I was told that I didn’t have any reservations for my room in which I was checked out by mistake. The front desk associate said they probably cleaned the room and put it in the lost and found. We checked the lost and found along with the laundry room and my suitcase was not located. The manager was notified of the incident never reached out to me... I had to keep calling and getting in touch with him. I also filed a police report and call corporate for Marriott. This incident happened on the 5 of May and now it is June 12 2020 and I still have yet to receive just one phone call from the manager Daniel Packerd. I will be calling again after this review and I will call corporate again a well. I should have had some results about my stolen items by now. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here in case you run into a issue like this but if you choose to stay please watch your things.
Update: The hotel or the claims department never cooperated with me. I filed with the court, won my judgement against them and plus...
