We have stayed at Buck Creek twice now, once last year and once this year, and we can't wait to go again. The showers and bathrooms are clean, the showers themselves are warm and have a normal shower on/off where you can adjust the temp. There are lots of trees and the fire pits are nice. They have an adjustable grate so they are easy to cook over. The firepits are secured to the ground and some of them are in odd places, this is the only "negative" I've found, but it isn't even a big deal. They have poles to hang your trash from, and dumpsters by the dump station. The campground host is super nice and check in is easy. It has always been quiet when we stayed here. It is a great location, you can easily walk down to the water's edge to fish or watch the boats at the marina. The marina is just north of it (literally the next driveway up the street) and the beach is just south of it. We didn't visit the beach this year but last year it was clean and very nice. The lake itself is BEAUTIFUL. If you have a boat, bring it - we had a hard time finding places to fish off of the shore last year other than the campground, and the lake is even more beautiful when you get to explore it on a boat. Wish we were...
