Camped here for the last 30 years of my life. Tubed the river from fife dam to the campground more times than I can remember. Never wore a life jacket and I've had the best experiences of my life here. Wish I was 21 again and the river wasn't overcrowded like it is now. I /we tubed that river long before Zoar white water rafting started. I've been through all the white water on a basic inner tube towing a cooler. I've actually helped the fire department rescue a kayaker that had broken his shoulder. Anyway always had fun camping there. Some real great times. Haven't been there for 20 years but would die to have a reunion with all my friends there. On my bucket list. Will do it before I I leave this world that I can guarantee. Oh and yes alcohol isn't allowed on the river but that didn't stop us.they aren't going to swim out to get you but we also kept it down and all empties came home with us. P.S. I lost 4 pair of Oakley sunglases on that river 300 bucks a pair except the last pair they were cheap 40 bucks. White water takes them right off your face but who cares I'd do it again tomorrow if i could. Good times Good times. No regrets. Loved it, lived it, will do it again.✌Be Safe. Enjoy every moment of your life because in the blink of an eye it has...

Camped here for the weekend, the location on the river is perfect for those hott days. If you are looking for some piece and quite definitely not the place, with how close the sites are, the way it echos from the cars going over the bridge, the train between 11pm-1am blasting its horn. But what really bothered me was when we were tubing on the last day camping there , I wanted to show my family the sites, so we could plan a future camping trip. But unfortunately the owner instantly approached us as we were getting our tubes out of the water, saying this is private property. We told him we were campers and we had four sites! He then asked us again two more times what site number, and this is private property again very rudely. I was disappointed since I wanted to plan a trip with my family and all of them after what happened said they will never go there!! I wish the owner had something in place so he would not have to act in that manner and not believe that we were camping. Other than that it was a great time with...

I like this place cause it’s right on the Deerfield River but for the price and to deal with the owners husband is not worth it he was rude to all of us for NO REASON 1am came and he was literally forcing us to get in our tents we payed for 5 sites to have a good time and he ruined it for us all told us we have 5 mins to pick up her get in our tents we Weren’t bothering anybody our neighbors were friendly And having a good time, he even forced them to go to sleep our camping neighbors didn’t like his attitude either this the last time I come here There’s lots of cheaper sites With more activities For the kids and not forcing anyone to go to sleep I’ve been here multiple times and he’s always rude. I tried to ignore it because it’s a nice spot on the Deerfield river but I’ve had enough of his attitude this last time not going to take disrespect from him when I know I’m a good customer I have brought lots of money to this site between me and all my friends to be...

The only good think about this campground is the fact that it is along the Deerfield River! I thought this was a great campground but is the most unprofessional campground I have been to. No online booking system. Instead you have to call to request a site; which is fine expect the owners play favorites and choose who gets the best sites. My friend tried getting sites and called to reserve the sites we liked most. This was at the start of the year (8 months before the reservation. Later we realized the sites were never confirmed for us and were all filled by "families that had been coming for decades." The owners play favorites and are just rude with how they come across sometimes. The sites are also expensive and only allow one tent per site. Will not be coming back here again!

Awesome campground with waterfront sites on the Deerfield River! Other than waterfront sites (because of environmental laws/concerns) all sites have full hookups. They also have fire rings to use. River is cool and can be tubed or rafted. I have done both by entering further up river and then lazily drifting until I reach the campground. Family friendly and just plain friendly place. Tent camping also available on waterfront. Incredible experience. Full super clean bathhouse available as well. Owner is a great guy, very involved and although I have not ever seen any issues, I know would be quick to resolve them.
