Dirty, disgusting with a poor sanitation rating. A 70 to be exact. I booked almost a week in advance and secured the room with my credit card. When we checked in they gave us a key and a room number. The key worked but there were people in there already. Very shady people! Next they changed the room to another smoking room as requested and the smoke alarm went off as soon as we lit a cigarette. And the front desk acted like it was my problem. I demanded it to be taken care of and after 30 minutes a maintenence man came and had no idea what to do so he just took it completely off the wall. And when I called and asked nicely if we could get some fresh towels I was told to come get them my self because the person at the front desk was the only person there!!! Now this was in the middle of the end of all the bad rain from the hurricane and I already had to switch rooms once because of incompetence. So all in all very poor customer service, nasty rooms, we even saw some bugs, the faucet in the sink was literally falling off and the place had a stink to it that I couldn't explain. Many shady characters hanging around at all hours and we did not feel safe for us or our vehicles at all! I would never recommend this place to anyone that I know or don't know. Please don't put yourself through the nightmare. The 2 and only good thing is that they had flat screen TV with HD. Next ti.e I want to go to a race in Charlotte I will gladly spend an extra 100$ a night so will never have to experience that again. And as for the rude person at the front that told me that they do not offer room service and he was the only one on duty..... my room was about a 2 minute walk from the office for you and a real customer service oriented person or business would have said... yes sir I will have those up to you just as soon as I can get away for a moment and not give me a bullshit excuse so you can just sit there and be lazy because you know what... I checked and you did not have a single person check in or out for the next 30 minutes after I talked to you so it was just pure laziness and horrible service. I am forwarding this to a friend that reviews hotels and motels under $75.00 Per night and are close to a sporting venue. With the holes in the walls to the dusty table to the blood or hopefully red paint stain in the bathroom by the light switch I can not wait for you to be exposed and shut down. And she is the girl to do it. Good luck but clean up! Not just your horrible rooms but your even worse...
Read moreThe building seems run down and the door to our room was difficult to open but I was pleasantly surprised at what seemed to be new, clean paint inside the room. The colors were vibrant and matched well with the furniture and bedspread. The sheets were not stained and smelled clean. TV was not a flat screen but it didn't bother me one bit. However, the bathroom smelled like urine and the floor was sticky. Stickiness may have been due to the cleaner they use but combined with the smell it made me feel instantly unsanitary. Also, once I laid die. For bed and turned to place my phone on the nightstand I got a whiff of cigarette. Stale cigarette. After much searching I discovered that it was ashes on the floor behind the nightstand. This was a non-smoking room, too, which contained an ash tray which did not smell of cigarettes. We asked the guy up front to clean the bathroom again and vacuum behind the nightstand but they failed at that. However, each day I received fresh, un-stained linens. I would have given it 4 stars except for that awful smell. The bathroom smelled like cigarettes on day 3 as well. Felt dirty the whole time we were there. One star. -Room 137...
Read moreI was looking for a POS motel for a romantic getaway with my gf. I found it.||||Upon entering, we noticed the door did not lock properly, and light poured in through the cracks around the door frame. Graffiti covered the opening. Our shoes stuck fairly aggressively to the tile floor, and the dimly lit room coupled with the blood red walls made it appear a bit satanic. It was clear a fire had been in the room at some point, because the bathroom door featured soot and smoke debris. Realizing we had struck gold, we were ready to relax in this wet Marlboro scented heaven. Once laying on the bed, we saw several large cigarette burns in the comforter. On their own, we would not have enjoyed the cigarette burns but once we saw a clearly different, yet equally talented, graffiti artists work on the headboard we felt right at home. We found complimentary hairs in the towels (which we did not use). The room was a comfortable 85° during our stay and everything had a moist feeling to it. The surrounding area appears very...
