Lake Conasauga Picnic and Swim Site — Hotel in Chatsworth

Wonderful campgrounds. Can fit tow behind campers or tent camping is great! Running water taps every other campsite as well as an actual bath houses. Having a clean bathroom with a sink is a great comfort for new campers. Awesome lake with swimming area and boat ramp for small craft. Overflow grounds are same as regular minus the immediate view of lake (less than 200 yds for most sites). Trails for picnic and campground kept neat. Also host to many historic trailheads in the appalachias and a trail to the fire tower giving a 360 degree view (used by forrest service to spot wild fires in literally any direction) of the tree covered mountains. Easily spend a week here and have done so annually. Nightly charge for here is super low for the awesome quality. Will not disappoint for a great weekend outing. Endless hours of fishing, hiking leisurely strolls all the way to experienced and river hikes, and dont forget...

Loved this place. 2 mile hike path shaded all around lake, swimming, boating but not speed boats, canoes and kayaks, or small fishing boats. Nice swimming...

Amazing place, beautiful and peaceful. Pretty far up the mountain but it's worth it. Picnic tables and grills...
