THE LAST WEEK OF DECEMBER AFTER CHRISTMAS AND BEFORE NEW YEARS MY BOYFRIEND AND I STAYED AT THE STUIDO 6 IFF BRIWNS FERRY RF THE FIRST NIGHT WE STAYED IN ROOM 117 & IT WAS LOVELY SO NICE AND CLEAN, THE MAN AT THE FRONT CHECKING US IN WAS GREAT EXTREMYLY POLITE SUPER ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS BROUGHT US A SPACE HEATER BECAUSE IT WAS SO COLD. COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER PLACE TO STAY OR EXPERIENCE. THATS IS UNTILL THE VERY NEXT NIGHT WE CHECKED BACK IN & IT WAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE, THE WOMWN AT THE FRONT DESK WAS RUDE & WAS STARING AT US FROM THE MOMENT WE GOT THERE WITH A RUDE EXPRESSION ON HER FACE. SHE WASNT ATTENTIVE, OR HELPFUL. SHE LOOKED LIKE SHE HATED HER LIFE AND WE WERE HER PROBLEM AFTER RENTING THIS ROOM WHICH WOULD BE , ROOM # 123 I DO BELIEVE JUST A FEW DOORS DOWN FROM.THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE THE NIGHT BEFORE. UPON ENTERING THIS ROOM YOU COULD SMELL A ODER COMING FROM THE FRIDGE , AFTER OPENING IT AND IMMEDIATELY REGRETTING IT ... THERE WAS NOT ONLY 7 DIFFERENT KINDS OF MOLD GROWING IN THE FRIDGE BUT SOMETHINF WAS ALIVE AND MOVING AROUND I T9OK PICTURES ANS VIDEOS , THEN WE MOVED THE DRESSER OUT TO FIND FAMILIES OF ROACHES LIVING BACK THERE . I DIDNT LOOSE MY COL OT GET ANGER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CLOSE TO MIDNIGHT AND I WORKED ALL DAY , WE JUST PUT OUR THINGS BACK IN OUR VEHICLE AND WENT TO THE OFFICE ,TOLD HER ABOUT THE ACTUALLY LIVING GROWING THING THEY HAD LIVING IN THE FRIDGE WITH OTHER KINDS IF MOLD AND THE FAMILIES OF ROACHES . SHE STILL WITH A RUDE TONE AND EXPRESSION ASKED FOR THE VIDEOS I SHOWED HER ONE SHE ONLY LOOKED FOR 2 SECONDS THEN GAVE US OUR MONEY BACK WHICH WAS 90$ AND SOME CHANGE , YES ONE NIGHT AT THIS HOTEL IS 90+ $ AND THEY HAVE ROACHES AND MOLD. SHE GIVES US A CASH REFUND AND NO RECEIPT, SO WITH IT BEING SO LATE I TOLD HER OUR STAY THE NUGHT BEFORE WAS LOVELY AND COULD WE JUST MAYBE GET A DIFFERENT ROOM .SHE RUDLY TOLD ME YES BUT NOT THAT ROOM AND ID HAVE TO OAT FULL PRICE FORM ANOTHER ROOM , THEY WOULDN'T SPEAK IN ENGLISH TO EACH OTHER ONLY WHEN SPEAKING TO US ... I DIDNT WANNA FREE NIGHT I JUST WANTED DONE COMPASSION & MAYBE SOMEONE TO BE A BIT APOLOGETIC , SO I ASKED IF WE COULD GET A DISCOUNT ON A ROOM OR SOMETHING CONSIDERING WE JUST BREATHED IIN TOXIC MOLD FUEMS , FOUGHT OFF FAMILIES OF ROACHES ( THERE WERE 3 BABY ROACHES IN THE SHEETS OF OUR BED ! ) NOTHING , SO SYMAPATHY NO COMPENSATION, NOTHING. |AS WE WERE LEAVING THEM SPEAKING A FORIEN LANGUAGE TO EACH OTHER WENT OUT AND WENT INTO THE ROOM TO INSPECT IT, OR " CLEAN " IT . HIDE THE EVIDENCE OF HOW DISGUSTING IT WAS , THE RUDE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK LACKS THE COMPASSION ANS KNOWLEDGE IT TAKES TO RUN A BUSINESS SUCH AS THIS ONE ! I WOULD LIKE TO BE COMPENSATED FOR HOW POORLY WE WERE TREATED AND HOW DISCUSTING AND HAZARDOUS...

DO NOT STAY HERE unless you don't mind bugs and the strong smell of urine in your room. Reserved a handicap room because I have knee and back problems and can't climb stairs. Was given what was supposed to be an ADA room, though it would have been very difficult to maneuver around or get in the bathroom with a wheelchair. The shower was not a roll in shower and did not have a shower wand/head that any other handicap bathroom would have. The bathroom had a very strong smell of urine though it appeared somewhat clean. Smelled like a bar bathroom. The bedspread and duvet had many stains and dirty spots on them and the pillowcases were dirty. THEN WE START SEEING THE WORMS crawling all over the floor. Had seen a cockroach outside the door, then later saw one in the room. That was enough for me to say bye! Had called the front desk about an hour after checking in, when we noticed the worms, and the guy came with a broom and dustpan to sweep up the ones we killed, and had a bottle of air freshener to spray around the bathroom to try and cover up the piss smell. Claimed they didn't have any other ground floor rooms available. There were only about 8 cars in the whole parking lot at 11pm, so doubt that was true. Called Motel 6 800 number to see if they could modify the reservation and move us to a different motel in the area, but they said I had to deal with the front desk. Went to front desk to ask for refund after packing all my stuff back to my vehicle and he told me that he couldn't issue a refund until he checked with his manager in the morning. I've stayed in Motel 6s all over this country and have never encountered one this dirty, bug filled and poor service. I will call their customer care department in the morning and...

This was our half way hotel to home after staying in Daytona for a week. Arriving at the hotel we had a 15 minute wait to get our room key. No big deal. After this we went to the room and put our stuff down after the bug check on the bed. No signs of bed bugs. Great. 2 of the 3 of us left the hotel room after setting plants and chocolate from our trip that couldn’t sit in the hot car.. barely looked at the room and left. Came back after 2 hours and went to take a shower. Inside of the shower the shower head had a thick black ring of filth around where the water comes out. I tried to just not think about it as I finished my shower. I got out and the towel I used seemed white until you held it up to the light and there were stains galore on the towel. It was absolutely disgusting! So I grabbed another and it wasn’t that bad, minimal stains but I needed to dry off! Seen a roach crawl across the floor near the door after my shower. We went to the main desk and said we wanted to check out and ask about a partial refund because we were not staying there and if we did we weren’t gonna sleep at all. The guy said the owner would be back in about 20 minutes but we had a long drive and didn’t want to wait. He said he would call us back tomorrow. We decided to just finish our 7 hour drive home before staying there. We have not since heard from anyone at motel 6. Got a email back saying to wait 5 days and its been over 7 now. I emailed corporate and they haven’t gotten back yet either. I doubt I will hear back from them at this point. The outside looks nice but it is filthy with horrible...
