Great if you want to be charged doublet to cost of the room in fees that shouldn’t be charged. Close to downtown and across the street from ruby falls. That’s about all the good I can say. There’s no security or employees on site. The window unit air conditioner didn't chill the room. The weather stripping around the door was falling apart. We found a couple of roaches in the room. It was evident that there had been a giant hole in the wall that was poorly patched. The landlord special was over the wall and windows. The sink was painted with screw outlines stuck in the sink. The fan was close to falling out of the ceiling, and if you turned on the actual fan , it wiggled and popped so much we were afraid it was going to fall onto the bed. The pillows still had dog hair and other persons hair on them. Gnats were in the room everywhere. You have to take out the trash in your room, but get charged a “cleaning fee”. For a room that doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned. Don’t stay here. You can get a MUCH BETTER place...

Pros: They are clearly taking feedback. I was in the Gio room. Bed was comfortable, everything worked pretty well (need to defrost the freezer in the fridge!). Ruby Falls is really cool and its right across the road (and up a steep hill).
Cons: $60 room rate + a $73 “fee”?? WTH. This place is right on the road, not a ton of traffic on Cummings Hwy in the middle of the night - but you will hear every car go by (light sleepers beware). The only lock on the door out towards the highway is the electronic deadbolt they send you the code for. There is no second lock. Who else has that combo? The blinds on the front window offer little privacy nor block the light. I spent a portion of the night looking out at the parking lot through a 2” gap on the side of the blind before I got up and covered it with a towel.
A tent on the side of the highway would have offered a comparable sense...
Read moreThe property is cute and clean. We stayed in the Alvar room and were supposed to stay two nights. At 6:00 am, after a sleepless night in a bed with a mattress like a chewed piece of gum, we loaded our car and left. The shower isn’t made for anyone taller than 5’0” and weighing more than 95 lbs. the worst was the bed, though. That mattress sinks and folds around you like a taco. The vintage feel is adorable, but it needs an upgrade on the mattress and a warning label on the shower. Even after reaching out to the rental company, they only said they were sorry I was unhappy. Baby, I was in a corner suite on the top floor of the Hampton in downtown Chattanooga so fast your head would spin. We were super excited about the vintage vibes of roadside stay at this property, but it was a big flop. 2/10 would not recommend unless you’re extremely petite and don’t mind sleeping in a burrito...
