This motel is a good deal for the area, and the main staff member who is there running it (Herry) does a great job of taking care of guests. I stayed at this motel for an entire month when I was working in the area, and during that time, they upgraded all of the bathroom counters/vanities throughout the entire motel. I had to work some late nights with an unusual sleeping schedule, so Herry made sure that no rooms were being updated next to my room during the time I was sleeping so it wouldn't disturb me. He was very thoughtful and accommodating throughout my stay. ||||I was staying in a room that had new hardwood floors. I know that the motel plans to redo the floors in every room, so at the time that you read this review, they have already completed all upgrades. ||||The motel is very quiet during the week. It has a tendency to get busier doing the weekends and a little louder at that time. The washer/drier in the laundry room (coin-operated) was always available when I needed to use it. My bed was comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower is strong. ||||If I ever needed anything or had a concern, I talked to Herry at the front desk and he took care of it for me. He and his wife - who is also on the staff - are caring people. If I could I would not even give this place a one star I reserved a room online while I was visiting my mom and dad and when I got there I went to get my reservation and the guy acted like he couldn’t find it and then I showed him a confirmation number and he said he would give me a call back after 6 o’clock if people didnt come in with cash for the room so that tells me that he was waiting for someone to pay straight out of pocket for the room instead of me getting it. So he left me with four kids struggling to find another room while I done had one reserved and could not get it. I come for two hours away. I called back after six to check about my reservation and then the guy hung up on me they are rude unprofessional and the owner always smells like alcohol. I've had to stay here for a little over a month. A storm came through and even after charter came to fix "something" the owner would not turn the cable on for anyone at all! Fast foward a week after not having cable the cable just came back on 4 days ago and now it's back off again. The owner is rude! He fusses at everyone and tries to make them stay in their rooms at all times. Everyone is grown. No one here bothers the next at all. I've tried calling them to ask about the room and all of a sudden their phone number doesn't work. I'm leaving next month because the owner is a creep and because of his piss poor attitude and the pathetic service! My boyfriend and I have paid well over what they've wanted us to pay and we still go without cable that comes with the room. The pool no matter what year it is is never open. The water is never in it. Please save your money and stay elsewhere that's really worth your time because...
