Poor customer service. Associate refused to sell me a piece of styrofoam. I explained I had travelled 60 miles from out of town to find our arrangement had been taken from my father’s grave. We brought new flowers with us and needed styrofoam bc it had been taken. She offered to sell me a $65 arrangement, or advised I drive 15 miles to Sylacauga to the nearest Walmart for a piece of styrofoam. This was the only florist in Childersburg. Really? She claimed she might need it for any future upcoming orders. I am also a very successful business owner, and I would have never treated a customer this way. Many years ago (1989) my husband was killed and I was a 21 year old widow with 2 kids. I was flat broke and wanted some flowers for my husband. This sweet wonderful lady made the most beautiful arrangement for us and let me make payments. It took me months to pay it off and she never sent me a bill. This has stayed with me since. I now live in Panama City and I still use this florist every time I need or want something in the Childersburg, Sylacuaga area. The arrangements are always top quality and well worth the money. You almost never know what you're going to get when you order flowers remotely, but they did a wonderful job for me at the last minute.
