Floyd EcoVillage, Floyd Event Center, Lodge and Campground — Hotel in Christiansburg

My wife and I retained the Eco Village Facility in Floyd for my daughter’s wedding on August the 9th, 2014. A better decision to utilize the Eco Village and their staff could not have been made. No facility in the area came close to offering the splendid immaculate accommodations, timely assistance and the upmost in customer service as Maggie Hessinger. Maggie and her staff were priceless in assisting us with the overall flow of the event, leaving absolutely nothing to chance and taking charge with due diligence. Words do not describe Maggie’s professionalism and attention to detail. The wedding was a huge success and we owe a large debt of gratitude to Maggie for seeing to it that this wedding event went smoothly and seamlessly. Thank you so much Maggie for attributing to such wonderful memories at this beautiful event at this first class facility.

We recently had our wedding at the Event Center, and it was incredible! The location is great - a short 5 minute drive from town and the Hotel Floyd (a real gem!), where we were all staying. The Event Center itself is just beautiful - the ballroom has so many lights, which makes it magical and feel decorated without adding much. There is another dining room, commercial kitchen, get ready rooms, a beautiful patio, and covered deck overlooking the pond. Everything is simply gorgeous! In addition to being a gorgeous and reasonably priced venue, Tim Holm, the manager, was great to work with. He was super helpful throughout the entire planning process, and did everything he said he was going to do, helping ensure everything ran smoothly. It was hands down the best experience I have had working with a vendor, and our wedding was everything we had hoped...

This is an exceptional facility to host events at! We recently had our wedding reception there. The outdoor pavilion on the lake is a nice outdoor space for a ceremony, but we did ours in the event room, which is beautifully decorated and has wonderful lighting, audio, and video projection systems. There was plenty of really nice indoor space for our 60 or so guests plus dinner buffet, bar, photobooth, etc. The center has a very well equipped commercial kitchen, complete with walk in fridge and freezer.
