I have such mixed feelings about this place. The pros: The lake and location is beautiful. The amenities were clean, and the young staff that works there is kind, hospitable, and hard working. The 2 young boys Calvin and one other kid were a pleasure to work with. Helping us load and unload. The Cons: We are part of the care free boat club and our first outing in one of their boats was abysmal. I couldn't believe working with the owner Tom and their head person Ginger was the worst part of the experience. Both of them need help in the customer service department. It's like we were inconveniencing them by asking questions, and working through our first time reservation. Both were rude and very unaccommodating. We reserved a deck boat that should be taken out of commission. The seats were damaged and ripped, none of the gages worked, the throttle kept on popping out so it had to be held in place while driving, the boat literally had a permanent drift to the side, and the Bimini top was ripped and shredded. We asked if we could take it down to avoid further damage and we were yelled at by Ginger that it stays where it is. The young kid Calvin was so embarrassed by her reaction, that he literally apologized for her after she walked away. Mixed review because the location and staff are great. But as boat club members we expect better quality boats, and friendlier service from their leadership.

Very cool, funky, eclectic, beautifully maintained except for the waterfront area which is a little rundown. Permanent residents in their own tiny houses and essentially brand new tiny houses available for rent - immaculate inside and out. Cool little bar on the water, deck boats and Power Cats to rent. Good prices, nice water, and two EV charging stations Everything you want, nothing you don't.

Love coming at least once a week for bingo, food trucks, live music, and of course the amazing people and views!! Always a wonderful experience and we love the staff and events! All around the perfect spot! Drinks are always cold and the locals are the most amazing humans! For an amazing spot to swim, eat, sing, and relax, I strongly recommend the cove!!!

Regrettably, our experience at Cypress Cove was disappointing by what appeared to be a lack of professional standards among its employees and management. Despite enjoying our time on both our own boat and the one we rented from them for our large group, our encounter with the establishment's service staff was that of childish behavior.

During our visit, we adhered to their policies regarding outside beverages. We complied by purchasing all food and drink with them on their property. While transferring items, including a cooler, from the rented boat to our personal boat docked at the peninsula- we were stopped. Unfortunately, a young female server reacted unreasonably, insisting we remove the cooler back to our cars. Despite having spent over $500 that day on their food truck, boat rental, and beverages, our attempts to explain were met with unnecessary conflict and a temper tantrum. Another young blond server engaged in the conversation (who happened to be the server we purchased our drinks from earlier that day). Upon requesting to speak with a manager, the server identified herself- “funny you should ask, but I am a manager. I’m the bar manager…” Obviously, understanding that these two girls would have no understanding on how to establish a satisfactory resolution and have zero hospitality management skills, I asked to speak to her General Manager. When the server dialed the GM, who DECLINED to engage with us directly, it became apparent that Cypress Cove lacks effective management oversight in handling guest concerns.

With over 19 years in hospitality management (including everyone in our party who are also in the hospitality industry), we value effective communication and customer service. Our intention was not to consume our drinks on their property but merely to transfer items between boats (one that we rented from THEM). The behavior of these two unprofessional and uneducated girls scared our children and made a scene for all to witness. Disappointed by this experience, we will take our future business elsewhere, seeking establishments where customer care and professional conduct are upheld. Stay away from Cypress Cove and give your business to Tiki Bar or Salt Shack until this establishment verifies they are under...

Still waiting approval to live in one of their tiny homes, but so far we are in love with the little cute tiny home community they have, what a hidden gem. It’s such a beautiful spot right on a lake and very quiet and peaceful. The staff working were super friendly from the moment we got out of our car and the manager Brenda was/is so professional in answering all of our questions to the best of her ability and if she doesn’t have the answer, she makes sure to find us the answer. She gave us a very nice tour of the tiny house and property and her energy was fun, it truly was a pleasure...
