On a recent trip to Vermont we stayed at Lakeshore Vermont Inn & Suites, right on Lake Champlain. Our suite, the Harbor Cottage, was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a truly relaxing vacation. Located right on the water, private beach, fire pit, comfy beds and rain shower heads were just some of the niceties we found. They are extremely pet friendly, which was necessary for us to travel. Property is very well maintained and close to restaurants and grocery store. Location made it easy to travel to Burlington,nStowe and Waterbury. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Vermont. Highly recommend anyone traveling to Vermont consider staying here!

My mom & I had an amazing getaway for my 30th birthday! I was born in Burlington, VT and we moved when I was a baby. My mom booked 2 nights at the Lakeside Cottage and it was amazing! We were right on Lake Champlain and very close to Burlington! 2 lovely bedroom with their own a/c units in them. The bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and porch were all amazing too! We enjoyed coffee on the porch, and we wish we had time to take advantage of the available kayaks. But no worries, we definitely plan to be back!

This rental was absolutely fantastic! The view of the lake was breathtaking, making our stay truly special. Neil was an incredible host—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We can't wait to return and will definitely be reaching out to Neil again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful getaway with excellent hospitality.

Our long weekend stay at the cottage was relaxing and very comfortable. |My wife is not a camping person and to say she is very selective in choosing where she wants to stay is putting it politely. When we opened the door to the cottage she was elated at the overall appearance and smell. As she put it there was no “eww” factor. In fact the interior design, cleanliness and details for soaps, kitchen utensils, appliances, seating, bedding was done exactly as she would have done if it were her own home. What you see in pictures and description does not give the cottage justice. It is everything and more. The views from the private deck are stunning. Also the access to the lake and all of the lake toys is a nice amenity. |We rented one of their pontoon boats for a half day and enjoyed relaxing and fishing with the grandkids. |Our overall experience with renting the cottage and the boat was easy and effortless. Neil and Deb were more than accommodating as I needed to change our booking dates with short notice. |Neil was relaxed and clear with instructions as to operating the pontoon boat. |As I reread my review, I noticed the word “relax “ is used quite a bit, but honestly when the owners convey that they are relaxed it carries over to the customer. |We would both highly recommend staying here if visiting the Burlington area of lake Champlain. Look forward to making another trip up and staying at...

Definitely one of the nicest accomodations I've stayed in - I'd say top 5. I've traveled the world and the only accommodation I would say compete with this are the high roller suites at casino hotels. I automatically assumed the picures were deceiving because they are so nice I figured the room couldn't match. I was wrong. It did not appear that any expense was spared in creating the unit we stayed in. Absolutely none of the chintzy hallmarks you see in many places like Ikea furniture, cheap electronics/appliances, or basic equipment. My only disappointment was that the lake was too yucky to swim in outside the hotel. My only nit is that the beautiful and spacious terrace wasn't cleaned quite as spotlessly as the inside. Neither of those things are a big deal. Come here for stunning accomodations and view. I don't think I've ever stayed in a place that I thought to myself I'd like to live in...
