We go to this RV Park often. We like the fact that it is not a "concrete jungle." There is grass, trees, shrubs. There is a well maintained bathhouse with a large shower if you need extra bath spaces. There are back- in spaces and pull through. We like that the manager lives on the property and keeps an eye on the safety of the property. He is always nice, cordial and willing to help with your needs. They also provide rv and boat storage in the back, along with spaces for extended living. There are even two tiny house owners living there. You can request a certain space in the short term area ; it will not be guaranteed, but he will try to accommodate you. There is a specified dog area for off leash playing. This park is close to College Station and events. To get a space during a football game, you better call really, really, really early. I don't know how early they allow advance reservations. Reservation costs are average. Please know that on special events and games you have to reserve/pay for Friday and Saturday night whether you need both nights or not. We go to be with family, and stay at LazyG every time we go to College Station so we have been there many times. Wifi is available. Last time we were there was Thanksgiving 2017. Getting to the park and leaving the park is easy access. I would say give them a try. It's not fancy, it's not uppity, it's not concrete, it is clean and well maintained. It is in tune with nature. Property is next to Highway 6 in College...
Read moreMy husband and I go there often for a few days. We like that it is not a Concrete Jungle. There is grass and trees and shrubs and birds. The place is not fancy but it is kept up and the bathrooms have always been clean and nice and well-appointed. Again not fancy but clean and adequate. The manager strives to help you with your needs. It is almost impossible to get a reservation during football weekend but that is true of any place within 30 miles of College Station. The park is located right off of Highway 6 which means it's easy to get around the college station area. You can hear the noise from the freeway. When making a reservation on the weekend of a football game you will pay for Friday night and Saturday night regardless of the fact that you may only want to be there one night but again that's a rule for the whole area. I can't speak for the long-term residents and how they feel because we are always temporary short-term people. I would...
Read moreCheck in made me sick, I have allergies to cigarette smoke and when I came for a weekend, went to the office with a medical mask on the smell of cigarette smoke inside was very strong (you would think you walked into a bar). Being a (park) take pride in your office such as cleanliness as that's the first thing your guests see, there should be a sign outside for those who do not want to breathe in nicotine upon entering the office as well for courtesy and more so if they have kids, teens or a medical condition...
