We absolutely love this hotel! we stay at Hyatt. For the majority of our hotels stays, oh, and we have really fallen in love with it. Hyatt house branding. This hotel is on the newer side. I would say that three years old, or so. Parking is free and convenient. The lobby is very inviting with a fireplace. Rooms are generously sized with kitchenettes. Beds are extremely comfortable The free Breakfast was the best we've had on this current road trip. There is an indoor pool. What really sets this hotel apart from others, though, are the people. Dee checked us in after a 8 hour drive. She was so welcoming. Upon checkout, I noticed that the hotel has a check out system for guests foe various items su h as board games. Mary, the reception went to the kitchen to get some ice foe my glass. Its small things like this that truly make a difference while traveling. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again if in Colorado Springs.

Outstanding Experience at Hyatt House Colorado Springs
We absolutely love this hotel! As frequent Hyatt guests, we've really fallen in love with the Hyatt House brand, and this property exemplifies everything we appreciate about it.
This newer hotel, approximately three years old, impressed us from the moment we arrived. The free and convenient parking was a great start, and the inviting lobby with its cozy fireplace created a welcoming atmosphere.
Accommodations & Amenities
The rooms are generously sized and feature well-equipped kitchenettes, making extended stays comfortable and convenient. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights after long travel days.
The complimentary breakfast was the best we've experienced on our current road trip, and the indoor pool provides a nice option for relaxation. All the standard amenities you'd expect are present and well-maintained.
What Truly Sets This Hotel Apart: The Staff
While the physical property is excellent, it's truly the people who make this hotel exceptional. After our 8-hour drive, Dee at the front desk provided such a warm, welcoming check-in experience that immediately put us at ease.
During checkout, I discovered the hotel offers a lending system for various items like board games - a thoughtful touch that shows attention to guest needs. When I needed ice for my drink, Mary at reception didn't hesitate to personally go to the kitchen to get it for me.
These small gestures demonstrate genuine hospitality and truly make a difference when you're traveling and away from home.
Final Recommendation
We would absolutely stay at this Hyatt House again when visiting Colorado Springs. The combination of modern accommodations, excellent amenities, and outstanding service creates an experience that goes beyond just a place to sleep - it feels like genuine...
Read moreI am writing this review to share my recent experience at Hyatt House in Colorado Springs in the hope that it will serve as a cautionary tale for others seeking accommodations in the area. My family and I had high expectations for a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, our visit to this hotel turned into an outright nightmare. Upon arriving at Hyatt House in Colorado Springs, we were excited to start our vacation on a positive note. However, our hopes were crushed when we were informed that the room we had booked was unavailable due to it being out of order. It was incredibly frustrating to face such a situation, especially since we had made our reservation well in advance and received no prior notice of any issues. What made matters even worse was the attitude and behavior of the hotel staff, particularly the manager on duty. Instead of displaying any empathy or willingness to assist, the staff member in question was astonishingly rude and unprofessional. She showed a complete lack of concern for our predicament and even went so far as to shift the blame onto external factors, refusing to take any responsibility for the inconvenience caused. As a result of the room unavailability, we were forced to find alternative accommodations at the last minute, which was a stressful and time-consuming process. The unexpected search for a new place to stay also incurred additional expenses that we had not budgeted for, putting a significant strain on our travel budget. When we asked for a receipt of cancellation for our original booking, the manager outright refused to provide one, displaying further uncooperative behavior. This left us feeling unsupported and unheard, as if our concerns were of no importance to the hotel. I cannot emphasize enough how utterly disappointing and unacceptable this experience was. The lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by the Hyatt House staff in Colorado Springs is simply inexcusable, and it greatly impacted the enjoyment of our vacation. As a frequent traveler, I have stayed at various hotels and have had my fair share of both positive and negative experiences. However, I can confidently say that the treatment we received at Hyatt House in Colorado Springs was one of the worst encounters with hotel staff I have ever experienced. In light of this experience, I strongly advise against staying at Hyatt House in Colorado Springs. It is evident that their staff lacks the basic understanding of customer service and hospitality, which are crucial factors in providing a pleasant and enjoyable stay for guests. I hope that this review serves as a warning to others and prompts the management of Hyatt House to seriously address the issues with their staff's behavior and service quality. As travelers, we deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy, and our experiences should be valued by the establishments we choose to stay in. In conclusion, I regretfully advise avoiding Hyatt House in Colorado Springs at all costs. There are plenty of other reputable and welcoming hotels in the area that will provide a far...
Read moreThis should be 1 star but because I know how stars affect a business, I am leaving 3 stars. Unfortunately I received 3 rooms and still this hotel was not up to par. First room stunk badly, the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash completely empty. at 2am check in, this is NOT great. The 2nd room, the bathtub wouldn't drain, so no shower that morning and when I went to warm up the water for room 2, no shower at that time either, it was 730am. They held my place in the room, while I ate breakfast and the breakfast, wow, needs help. Waffles, cooked then placed in covered pan, making them completely soggy, the wannabe eggs were crackly from sitting too long, there were no plastic covers for my hands since it's more like all self serve, everyone touching all the serving spoon, gross, there tongs not user friendly, hardly holds stuff unless you do use your whole hand, then onto the technician coming and using drano on the tub, 45 minutes later around 12pm tub won't drain, moved me to better view room, but took me one hour to get ready to shower, and bam, shower water might have reached 10 inches away with hardly any water pressure, not like the other showers at all. I just sat down in disgust and felt defeated, called down to the manager, Kristen, which her attitude is a delight, and said, I want to leave. She released me and really tried to make it all work, but she can't fix the problems that exist in that moment, I am literally going through it all. Sat outside for 40 minutes for an uber pickup and headed to nowhere. If you are reading this review, do not expect the same fast pickups at other cities for uber or lyft in this city, rent a car instead, and call it a day! I video'd and witnessed the manager of housekeeping walking and taking breaks with the technician, showed that to front desk folks. I saw and smelled the smoke breaks happening with them a few times in just a few hours, so if that is what's happening, it is understandable there are labor problems. Half of your problem is that some of the workers don't take their jobs seriously. As nice as the manager of the housekeeping is and was, is not the same as work ethics, two totally different things. The rooms are all disgusting, as M and I discussed, and when I mentioned how M has made several complaints to let you all know about the problems, she feels back lash from people, which is not ok, when she finds blood on blankets that are obviously not clean, you all can do better carrying a name like Hyatt. With this location, there is nothing to walk to,...
