James the maintenance is on top of it, however ladies at front desk need to learn to help there customers. Im a disabled vet and i have had a couple of them that have been quite rude . One never spoke to us yet she was standing at the desk. Not a hello or kiss my butt, the other i ask if she could throw a coke bottle away for me she refered me to a trash receptical on the other side of the room . I just had a total knee replacement done and still have the limp. For such a nice hotel the staff should be a little bit more receptive to the people they are there for. On the other hand spend a little more on toilet paper, my wife and i will be here for 2 more days and im not sure i want to stay here. Im extremely disappointed. This morning tried breakfast, and a shower, absolutely had to run around shower to get wet, bed frame is broken every time you moved in bed frame popped. This hotel has been open less than a year. Breakfast was horrible MILK WAS WARM NOT A FAN OF WESTERN OMLET. Very disappointed! Our second day here was worse, we couldnt even get room service to clean the room, now we have no clean towels or toilet paper. This hotel has fallendo to a 0 if I could give them this is would, i was being generous with the stars i gave them i was trying to be nice. Now i have 1 more night here and i really dont want to stay here. Breakfast is a total disaster. A zero would be to much. There cable keeps teahering so it interupts every movie you try to watch.what a...

We had an awesome stay at the Tru in Colorado Springs, even with a big snowstorm rolling through during our trip. I’d definitely recommend this hotel!

Right away, you can tell it’s a newer hotel—everything feels super fresh and clean. Our room was really comfortable, and I loved that it had hardwood floors instead of carpet. It just made the space feel extra clean and modern.

Breakfast was a bit of a mixed bag. The eggs? Not great. But overall, the food was decent, and we ate there every morning. The coffee was hit or miss depending on the day. On the other hand, the fitness center was fantastic—super clean with brand-new, high-end equipment and even free weights. The lobby was also a great spot to hang out, with plenty of comfy seating.

The staff was amazing—everyone we interacted with was friendly and super helpful.

The location is really convenient if you’re flying in or out of the airport, but if you’re looking for restaurants nearby, there aren’t many. It’s about a 20-minute drive downtown if you want to go out for dinner. Since we spent most of our time in Manitou Springs and out by Florissant, we just grabbed food on the way back rather than making an extra trip to the hotel first. That said, it’s in a great spot for checking out places like the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the Olympic & Paralympic Museum.

Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again next time...

It's a new hotel. When I visited, they told me it was just 4 months old. I couldn't believe it because in many details it seems like a 4-year-old property. The shower glass door in my room was not installed properly and misaligned so it can't close. Resulting shower water splashing everywhere. The hinge of the shower glass is also falling off already. (see the pics I uploaded) Many of the staff members seem not having a clue of what they are doing. I arrived at the Colorado Springs airport and struggled to connect to anyone for a shuttle bus. I had to wait at the front desk for the girl to finish her chit chat with another staff before she seem reluctantly come to check me in. (I could hear their conversation so I knew it wasn't anything important) Despite being 20% full, as I was told by the shuttle bus driver, she assigned me to an adjoined room. First of all, how is adjoined hotel rooms still a thing? It should never be there in a hotel built in 2024. Secondly, why assigned solo customers to a room adjoined to another room that already taken by other guests, especially when most rooms are empty? The door between the rooms were not thick and I could hear everything in the other room. A lot of room for improvement.

New property that is shared with Homewood Suites (I think)... Breakfast was included, but they were never truly prepared for the crowd of folks that were onsite... they served a pale get sausage that several guests asked to be cooked longer or just pan fried to give some color, and the woman who 'prepared' the food said "...this is just how it was..." There was issues with the satellite TV reception, so we couldn't watch the NBA playoffs in the evening in our room... it seemed to work on the bar/ reception area, and one guest speculated they did this to get folks to buy beer at the bar! Tru says if there is a problem they'll fix it or the night is free, but even after pointing out the various issues, there was no discount. The desk clerk had to get approval from the manager, who wasn't onsite. Then at check out, it will be credited to me after the manager gets in on Monday... Two weeks later? No contact, no credit, no problem! Hilton is showing how they appreciate guests, especially at these new 'boutique' brands...

This no frills hotel is a mixed bag. Pros: friendly, efficient staff; comfortable bed; cool soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers; excellent breakfast and attendant on Wednesday morning. Cons: dirty floor in our room (Sandy, white power throughout room got on our dark clothing); cheap tp; yellow stain on white duvet cover; lack of food for breakfast and seemingly non existent attendant on Thursday morning; no parking in front at night; no coffee maker, clock or microwave in room. Good thing the pros slightly outweigh the cons. Will most likely not be back. We are use to something much different from Hilton. We both use to work for the company.
