Air condition didn’t work. Waited an hour to see if it would cool the room but it didn’t. Asked for another room, the room was not the same configuration/comparable. I asked for a refund they said they couldn’t say whether I could get one and would have to talk with manager the next day. I left because the room was hot and I was sweating. I was starting to get sick to my stomach because the smell and heat was just unbearable.
The room itself was in disrepair, parts of the wall was broken/falling off, the sink wouldn’t drain, and I random drug addict jump roping in the parking lot at night.
The next day I called and talked to Mr. Raj (sp) he apologized and said I can contact Expedia and they would refund it and he wouldn’t have a problem with it. I contacted Expedia and they said I needed to contact the hotel. I called back and talked to Mr Daniel who lied and said he was the manager. He later admitted Mr Raj was his boss. He said the room AC worked just fine and I couldn’t get a refund. This is after Mr Raj apologized and said they were renovating and the AC installation was going on.
I was traveling through and just wanted to save some money. Never again will I ever book through a third party, nor stay at a place like this.
I strongly recommend against staying at this place. I would have gladly paid extra to stay somewhere else. Poor service. I felt like I was being scammed. Also, they will ask for your address and email address at check in. Don’t give it total them, they will use it to sign you up for wyndom rewards without even asking permission.
Disgusting hotel...
Read moreI am writing this review to formally express my disappointment following a recent stay at your property, specifically regarding the condition of Room 104 and the unprofessional behavior exhibited by a front desk staff member, Tiesha.
Upon entering Room 104, I was immediately met with an overwhelming and harsh smell of mildew, which made the room uncomfortable and seemingly unsanitary. I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk in hopes of finding a resolution. Unfortunately, the response I received from Tiesha was not only unhelpful but also completely inappropriate.
Tiesha was loud, dismissive, and confrontational during our interaction. When I requested to speak with a manager or asked about their availability, she abruptly and rudely stated, "He won't be here today," in a raised voice. Rather than providing assistance or showing empathy, she escalated the situation and demonstrated a clear lack of professionalism and communication skills.
This level of customer service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your establishment. Front desk personnel serve as the face of your business and should be trained to handle guest concerns with courtesy and respect.
Given the unsanitary condition of the room and the unprofessional treatment I received, I will not be returning to this location. I strongly urge your management team to review both the quality of the accommodations and the behavior of your staff to prevent similar experiences for...
Read moreNote to everyone never stay at super 8 (5719 Fairfield road Columbia, South Carolina 29203), after checking in at 1 am from driving all day to finally get some rest to be warned around 5 am by a police officer that we needed to get our stuff and leave right then. 30 minutes after getting their we had a older guy press his face and body against our window knocking on it, wouldn't leave for 5 minutes. We called the front desk, he insured that has never happened there and we were completely safe. Okay. NEXT. We went to get our bag out of the car and a woman tried following us to our room, we locked the door in her face and shut the blinds. Within 3 hours over 12 cars pulled in honking their horn and leaving right after, prostitutes constantly being picked up and dropped off, but yet the guy at the front desk still insured two young girls with two children that they were safe. The officers knew everything was going on there but did nothing but tell us we should leave and why did we choice a hotel like this. Luckily he did wait for us to get all of our stuff and both kids into the car and made sure we were safely gone before he left. This was such a scary experience, we were scared too even leave our room to get and the car and leave! Who would have thought checking into a popular hotel would have turned into us being in a drug dealing and prostitution hell hole. This hotel needs to be shut down. I have never feared for my, Amy , Riley...
