The entrance is inconvenient to load your luggage. The room was not clean. Soap scum in the tub. We ate at Guy Fieri's restiraunt which did not have our first selection in stock, when their menue has around ten options. The adult beverages were weak, the silverware was filthy, and the price was very high for the small quantity of food. My girlfriend could not eat her chicken sandwich. My sandwich was good but not great for the price. The.server asked how our meals were, so my girlfriend was honest. He was very avcomdating and didn't charge us. We didn't ask him to that. It was nice of him to not charge us.
This is where things get weird. He brought us a reciept with the total and a line for a tip, but we had not given him a card before we received it. I handed him the card to charge the bill, which he disappeared with for a few minutes. He brought back bill, which I filled out before we went back to our room. Minutes later, the manager and security were beating on our door attempting to intimidate us, claiming our meal was not paid for.
We explained that the server took our card, and the manager (who didn't witness that transaction) corrected us saying we were lying.
Funny how it works. They acted overzealous and harassing. She was ignorant to the situation. Yet condescending and disrespectful
The security guard told me he knew we didn't try to dine and dash and told a story where he chased a guy that ran, due to their mistake, because he had paid and he pointed out we weren't running.
My girlfriend and I are not easily intimidated, and we were polite but more aggressive than the people who tried to intimidate us. The security guard was stern but polite. The resteraunt manager was rude, refused to believe our account of theincident, and had the audacity to taint and provoke us. She refused to ask her server why he took our card, and claimed we were lying..
They have cameras everywhere. I think some one should look ar the footage because she basically accused us if lying and stealing. Pathetic. We were trearlted like lower life forms. Never coming back. The worst experience I have ever had at a...

We were working at another hotel in downtown Omaha, Nebraska but, they did not have parking spaces for semi trailers so we were forced to stay elsewhere. We chose the casino, thinking it would be a good place, offering Recreation and, a pleasant visit.
Unfortunately, the only Recreation here is the casino. There are two restaurants within, the 360 Steakhouse which is only open Wednesday to Sunday. And Guy Fieri's restaurant which offers a limited menu. Delicious and GREAT service but, difficult if you are on a special diet, as I am.
There are not, as far as I can see, any locations nearby that are within walking distance for other options. There isn't even a snack center at the front desk or on each floor a vending machine. It is very clear, management or ownership wants you to use their restaurants exclusively!
We also had sort of anticipated that there would at least be a pool or hot tub available for guests. There are none, so I decided to go for a stroll outside and find some place to sit and enjoy the nice weather and the green lawns...
Uh oh! No benches anywhere except by the front door! What's the deal Harrah's? There aren't even benches on each floor if you want to sit near the window just to be alone for a few moments.
Apparently, the people in the adjoining room must have made a big win because, they returned to their room around midnight and were talking very loudly on the other side of the adjoining door, very excited about something. This excitement and Loud talking did not end until 3:00 a.m. too bad we had to work at 5:00 a.m. and did not get sleep that night! The beds are extremely comfortable, it would have been great to actually sleep. (See that silver lining right there? 😇😅)
I would probably not stay here again given that detail. The only place to sit and relax was in our room or at a restaurant.
Very disappointed, the price we paid should have given more accommodations for the introverts in the crowd.
No pictures, I'm...
Read moreMy 22-year old daughter and I attempted to visit the casino with friends on May 1st, 2021. Apparently, the casino had just implemented a "new" policy requiring two forms of identification for entry into the casino. (Although there is NO mention of this policy on their website, so we had no idea about the requirement.) I'm not sure what the minimum age is for this new policy, but if a visitor appears old enough to bypass the identification process, a security guard appears and barks out directions: "You three! Pull your mask down and look at the guard. You can go through!" One young adult that was with us and gained entrance said, "I felt like I was being interrogated!" My daughter was denied entrance to the casino, so we asked the security officer if he could give us walking directions to the Ameristar Casino, which is located nearby. He recommended we follow the bike path that runs between the two casinos. We confidently left the casino through one of the back doors & promptly found ourselves in a sparsely populated parking area at the rear of the building. It was 11:00 at night, so outside the parking area was very dark. The bike path was located on the perimeter of the parking area, was unlit and lined by trees on one side. To follow the path, we would have had to walk under a train trestle in pitch darkness & continue walking for ONE MILE. Although I am rarely apprehensive about things, I decided it was not safe for us to continue. My question is: What kind of person would - without hesitation - send two women out to walk a mile in the dark at that time of night? Obviously not a person that was concerned for the well-being of anybody. Our entire experience was far from welcoming & frankly, I found the recommendation for us to walk the bike path to the other casino to...
