An amazing campground located in Redwood National and State Park. Recommend making reservations ahead of time. You can ask if there is availability but it’s not likely. The campsites are wonderful. Showers and restrooms available. Designated trash disposal areas. You can buy bundles of firewood for $10 each.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at Mill Creek Campground, and it's a perfectly convenient location to visit Jedediah Smith Redwoods Park (if that popular campground is all booked) and to visit Crescent City. My pull-in site was basic (heavy-duty timber picnic table) and fairly level. Water faucets and garbage / recycling bins are interspersed between clusters of campsites. Toilet and shower facilities were well maintained. Just note: Mill Creek Campground is in a super-densely forested, younger-Redwoods and tall pines deep canyon; so: "No Service" (at least with my Verizon, which is really fine with me); it stays fairly moist; and even on sunny days your daylight will be a bit dimmer (thickly shaded) and shorter than usual. Still - peaceful...
