Levee Inn — Hotel in Crossett

This was the worst motel I have ever been to in any city anywhere. If I could give a negative review I would. Not only was the person responsible for running it drunk or hungover every day to the point she was forgetting when we paid her but also charged us double after a couple bounced out without paying her. Lisa is her name and I advise anyone coming into crossett needing a room to go to the Hollywood and save yourself the hassle. Roach infestested,wifi never works,in 3 weeks our TV never got fixed after addressing we had a broken TV upon arrival. This place needs a new owner . DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. To top it all off a guy came to our door knocking looking for DRUGS bc the manager told them to ask around and sent him to our room. Horrifying experience all around. The head housekeeper was always up there doing maintenance on some part of the motel while Lisa sat around and just told her what to do hastily at that. I have seen the head housekeeper bring her own tools to come up there on her day off and work until dark because nobody else would fix the problems that the motel was having like water leaks one point the plumbing was backed up and she got out there with a shovel and tried to fix that too. Never once did she get the credit or the payment that she was due for her efforts in maintaining and running that place. She should have been getting paid exceptionally well instead she's having a break her back and still struggle because her boss wants to leave her responsible for everyone there renting a room. Lisa would even come and scold us for speaking to other tenants that were renting a room next to us or a couple rooms down. But when she let a couple live there for over a month without paying them $1.I found out the next month why our rent had been so high, the manager was charging us double so she didn't have to make up for the money that was lost for her letting that couple stay there rent free for 3 weeks without filing charges or getting the money back. I advise if there's anywhere else that you can go please do so and save yourself the hassle, the inconvenience and the lack of respect that comes from this place all together. I stayed here almost 7+ years ago as a child, my fathers job had me and my family living in hotels like these everyday so he could travel all over the US for work. This was by far, the WORST hotel i ever stayed in the almost 7 years we lived like that. From louisiana to Missouri. This hotel brings back flash backs, terrible ones. Wed walk to the family mart behind the inn for food and toiletries , and it was the worst experience of my life hotel situation wise. It felt like living in an abandoned building, cigarette butts in the dressers and dirty linens from check in. We had nothing but problems and could hardly sleep due to the uncomfortableness of this " hotel ". 7+ years later as an adult, and i can still remember this place by name. Management is super! Very accommodating and a great hostess. My husband stayed one day due to a power outtage caused by a storm. Ms.Lisa gave my husband priority due to his breathing issues. He has to take breathing treatments and needed a cool place to stay. She was very kind and made us feel welcome. This is an older hotel. It's more affordable than the other hotels in our area. The ac unit was very cold and refreshing. The room has a flat screened TV and a small refrigerator & microwave.
