The hotel was lovely. From the moment I walked in the door I felt right at home. The lady at the desk explained everything that I needed to know about my stay and was very helpful. The room was extremely clean and had all of the comforts of home. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows. The hotel was conveniently located to the Ali Ghan Shriners Club where my friends and I were attending a concert, so I chose this hotel based on the fact that it was only 3 minutes away. I had never been there but the reviews were good so I made my decision based on that and I'm so glad that I did. I had a light next to my bed that was burnt out and asked the housekeepers for a bulb. They did not understand what I wanted, but quickly got someone to help me and the problem was resolved quickly. The pool looked nice, but I didn't have the opportunity to try it out. The Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with everything you might expect on a breakfast buffett. The food was hot, delicious and well stocked. The bathroom was very clean and I liked that the shower had a spot for toiletries, which many hotels do not have. Also, the shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the shower were nice, although I brought my own. It's much more practical than those small complimentary bottles that most hotels have that end up in landfills. There were plenty of clean towels available in the bathroom, The only suggestion I would make is that it would be so nice to have had more hooks or towel racks in the bathroom. For a room that could potentially accommodate 4 people, the hooks on the back of the door and the one towel rack just isn't enough. It might even encourage people to use bath towels more than once if there was a place to hang them to dry and that would save you money and save water. That's a problem with many hotels and it would not cause me to lower my review score, but it's just a suggestion. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a nice clean place to stay with reasonable prices in the mountains of...

Read moreWe were visiting family in the Cumberland area for my daughter's birthday. I need a handicapped room with roll-in or walk-in shower. There are 4 people in my family only 3 can stay in this room. So I have to have my son stay with my parents while we are at the hotel. I wish when they build these new hotels they would take this in mind and make more rooms with roll-in or walk-in showers that allow 4 to stay in a room. Most hotels only have 1 room with roll-in shower and that is just not right. Also, make the side entrance by McDonalds where you can park for handicapped people. My room was right next to this exit however there was no handicapped parking at this end. I either had to park in McDonalds lot and try to walk down the litte hill of grass and rock or walk all the way down a walkway to the front of the hotel to get to my van. The other end has parking and a short walkway to the parking spaces why doesn't this end? My daughter was excited about swimming in the pool however, the pool is to be heated....it was cold!!!! Either turn the heat on or turn it up!!!! Now let's talk about the "hot" breakfast... breakfast is served at 7am, my husband went down to see what was being served...he comes back with nothing. He said there was hardly anything there. He said there was other people complaining about the lack of food being served. He went back down a little later well they had a few more things they finally had a bagel, a biscuit some sausage gravy, a few pieces of bacon, some eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk. I don't know if supplies were running low or if they are afraid to put out the food. My daughter wanted a waffle and they were out of batter at 7am? Also, the water pressure in the shower wasn't very much. Very disappointed in our stay!!!!! We will never stay here again!!!! So sad for a...
