Kindle Ridge — Hotel in Dahlonega

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Blue Spruce cabin at Kindle Ridge in Dahlonega, GA, and it was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was something special. The views are stunning, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the cabin itself is beautifully designed with every detail in mind.

This was actually a surprise birthday gift for my boyfriend, but I was just as surprised by the peace and calm it brought me. We wanted a weekend to disconnect from our stressful lives, and this was the perfect reset. Honestly, we ended up agreeing that staying in, cooking, and soaking up the serenity was better than visiting any nearby attractions. It gave us the space to slow down and just enjoy each other’s company.

The cabin feels like a luxury hideaway in the middle of nature—modern, cozy, and surrounded by nothing but trees and quiet. The deck with the hot tub and firepit was a highlight, especially in the evenings.

Katie, our host, was wonderful! She reached out ahead of time with all the information we needed for our stay and made herself available if we had any questions. That personal touch made everything so easy and stress-free.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here! The cabin was gorgeous, had everything we needed plus more! The bed was cozy and comphy, the water pressure was great in the shower with the beautiful views of the mountains, even the toilet paper was extra soft (it's the lil things) The owners were excellent with emailing us everything we needed, and even had a nice kindle ridge booklet in cabin giving you easy instructions how to work the projector, fire pit etc. It was so nice how the hot tub was already on and ready for us when we got there, and enjoyed reading by the firepit. My husband and I really loved the remote controlled window blinds that covered ALL the windows for a pleasant sleep. We also enjoyed the shops nearby, so many antique shops which I adore, wine tasting shop (so yummy), chocolate shops (dark chocolate coconut bars so goood!) And the food was delicious at Spirits tavern and at Shenanigans where we also got to sit outside at a table with a firepit in the middle!!!! We also went hiking at Amicalola falls, pics dont do justice for this huge gorgeous waterfall!! Also hiked Preachers Rock with breathtaking views of the mountains and we ate lunch on the rock!!
