The most disgusting place I have ever stayed in my entire life. We booked here on the recommendation of a friend for a snowmobile trip. He had stayed here years before and said it was a decent place. Upon arrival, my skepticism about it being a decent place began to grow just getting a look at the outside. My friends and I went into the office and reluctantly started to check in. For some reason everything is on paper here and they keep a photocopy of your credit card on file. None of us were very comfortable with this, but the front desk clerk explained that it was a precaution in case we ā€œAerosmithedā€ our rooms. With no alternative being we drove five hours to get there, and the other hotel (Four Seasons) was booked, we took our keys and went to our separate rooms. Upon opening the door, I was hit in the face with an old and musty smell. Like the basement of your grand parent’s house that was built a 100 years ago. The furniture was old, the finish worn off and the walls were dirty. After the initial shock wore off, I started turning on some lights in amazement that I has just paid $80 to stay here for the night. As I continued to look around the room, things just got worse. The residue on the lampshade, then the black stuff on the pipes in the corner of the ceiling, the graffiti behind the mirror. Most disturbing, was the brown water filled blisters in the bathroom ceiling paint that were dripping water all over the toilet and floor. I couldn’t even stay a second night. When I got back from snowmobiling I told the front desk guy that the room was disgusting and about the leaking water coming in from the ceiling. I explained that I couldn’t even stay in the room and asked for a refund. He spoke to the owner about it and even after a second request to get a refund for the night that I did not stay, they refused. Do yourself a favor and book at the Four Seasons for an extra $9 a night or stay in another town.

Horrible people. The rooms have the worst cigarette smell. You can leave your clothes in bags and everything will smell like cigarettes when you leave. Someone using a weed wacker used it right next to my vehicle and there was grass all over the hood of my car along with nicks from rocks. Sketchy...
