We booked this hotel based on the proximity to the cemetery where we were burying my parents. The pictures were really nice looking and they had free breakfast. As my son and his wife traveled with my husband and I, we reserved a family suite. We stayed three nights.
The pictures looked much nicer than the actual room.
There was tape on the walls, I'm assuming a previous guest taped things on the wall.
The switch on the desk lamp was missing so in order to turn it off we had to unplug it.
There was an empty chicken nugget box behind the nightstand.
The bathroom door didn't lock. This wasn't a really big deal; if the door was closed we knew someone was in there.
None of the staff wore anything that identified them nor did they wear anything with the Wyndham name on it.
Many times there was no one at the front desk. One person that was there the 2nd and 3rd evening would periodically stand outside to smoke and put out her cigarettes on the column beside the front door. There are black streaks on the column - not a good look.
Outside of the first night, whenever we came in, if there was someone at the desk (which was very rare), there was no greeting
The free breakfast consisted of mini muffins, white and wheat bread, English muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, make your own waffles, two types of cereal, orange juice, apple juice and milk.
The bacon was so thin, I referred to it as shaved bacon. It had no real flavor. The eggs were OK the first day but the second day there was a watery substance in the bottom of the pan. The orange juice looked brownish orange so I didn't drink any. I didn't try the apple juice. The milk was in gallon jugs, not individual servings.
They never came to clean the room or replenish the towels. When I asked for more towels after our first night, they asked if we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the room. No, we hadn't put any signs up. The second day, we were out until 2:00 pm and our room hadn't been cleaned again. We took out our own trash. When I requested new trash bags and told the manager our room hadn't been cleaned for the second day, he again asked if we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. Once again, no we didn't. He asked if I wanted him to send someone to clean but I told him it was too late, we would be checking out the next morning.
I do think the manager is making an effort but I was really disappointed in this stay. Wyndham is typically a good brand but I will definitely be more cautious about booking a Wyndham hotel in the future.
I definitely don't feel that I got a good value or even a mediocre value for the...

We booked this hotel through Priceline, and from the moment we stepped into the lobby, it was a huge disappointment. The seating area in the lobby was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.
When we checked in, the front desk clerk told us she was going to put us in a building at the back, but since we had already unloaded our luggage, we requested a room in the main building. She went to check the room and came back saying it wasn’t ready and had some issues. A little later, she told us it was finally “ready,” but warned us there were no towels available, and she could only give us a few.
The room was on the ground floor. On the way there, we noticed the hallway carpets were disgustingly dirty, and we feared the room would be the same—and unfortunately, it was even worse.
The room smelled absolutely terrible, with a strong, unpleasant odor. The carpet was stained and filthy, the walls had visible marks and stains, and the bathroom was not cleaned—there was hair in the shower. The bed sheets had stains on them, and the armchair in the room was so dirty and stained that it was unusable. The toilet hadn’t been properly cleaned, the secondary door lock was broken, and the air conditioner was extremely old and added to the awful smell. There was no bathroom fan for ventilation.
Despite being told towels would be brought later, they never arrived—we had to go and ask again ourselves. The room description mentioned a coffee maker, but there was none.
To make things even worse, before checkout time someone tried to open our door without knocking.
Breakfast was another disaster. For a large hotel, there were only two tables available, so guests had to wait just to sit down. There were hardly any breakfast options, and the waffle maker was filthy and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages.
However I can’t believe this hotel same price as the others.
If it were possible to give a negative review, I would. This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It was so bad that my spouse and two children chose to sleep in the car, while I stayed alone in the room.
I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to avoid it...
Read moreOne of the worst stays our family has experienced in our travels…the hotel has quite a few aesthetics right away that are off putting, such as the (what I think is incomplete) sign out front that reads, “you stay”. Along with the absolutely filthy entry rug and the broken glass on the windows on either end of the building. Beside from that they seemed to be lacking in every necessary supply that you need during a stay. Such as toilet paper and washcloths. The woman working at the desk literally made a frantic look as if she may not have any when my husband asked for a 2nd roll of toilet paper for our room after only being provided one half of a roll upon arrival. During our first day we realized that our door wasn’t actually locking and literally anyone could just walk right in with the handle and no keycard. When I asked the front desk her response was “ohhh housekeeping just didn’t lock it back with the master”. I have 2 young children and a room full of personal belongings. That mistake is completely unacceptable. Our remote for the tv only worked for the cable and not the tv itself, so my husband went to ask if there was something we were missing…the response her received was that “it’s a problem with all their tvs” and “they can’t figure out how to fix it”. He was then instructed on how to manually change the volume and power of and on with a tiny little button on the bottom of the tv itself. The “free breakfast” is an actual joke, where you are met with a floor so sticky that your every step squeaks on the floor; scrambled eggs soaking in a pan of water, undercooked bacon, 10 pieces of bread and a mini fridge with its only content being a 1/4 gallon of milk. Finally, our family was very disappointed to find that there is no “spa” in the pool room, (which is advertised in the photos) and the pool is literally freezing cold. This was extremely disappointing considering we chose this hotel for our family weekend out of town so that we could enjoy our evenings in the pool together. Overall, we are extremely dissatisfied with this hotel experience. I do not recommend in the slightest if you would like any sort of nice and...
