While the owner is extremely nice and helpful, this place needs a lot of work. It seems like they are understaffed. The grounds needs a lot of maintenance, there was garbage in the childrens playground, broken swings in the playground, weeds everywhere. Our site was almost complete dirt. Not that owners could control the mosquitos, but dear god they were out of control. The pool needs some maintenance, it completely out of balance and freezing. The next day the pool was also green. Also the amount of stuff that was floating in it, pretty sure it was algae growing. The main road in front of the park traffic is horrible, so anytime a truck drives down it you can hear them rumbling by. It seems as the noise it constant. So if your a light sleeper it will definitely get annoying. The WiFi that was available wasn’t able to use, I’m guessing to many people on it. Instead of hanging out at the park like we usually do our family went else where during the day. This place has the bones to be a really great park, but needs some major work to get there. If your already booked here and need somewhere to take your kids go to: Ghost Town- Bannack State Park super cool, not the best entertainment for really little kids but they can manage. Jaycee Park- amazing place also has a splash park. Butte- there is and awesome water park for super cheap. $20 for two adults and two kids. Ridge Waters Water Park.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at the Beaverhead River RV Park in one of the monthly spots for a full year. We had an amazing experience, where every day felt like a family camping trip. Being right on the Beaverhead River we were able to witness all of the seasons, from the many birds and flowers in bloom to the autumn leaves dropping to the ground. This park is truly beautiful- I took photos almost every day! The sparkling, heated pool opened each summer after the last frost, and children and laughter filled the “old school” play area. The laundry room is ideal with 4 washers and 4 dryers, 2 of which are oversized. There’s a convenience store that has Knick knacks and souvenirs, snacks, ice cream and emergency camping and RV parts. There’s also propane, firewood and ice available for purchase (we didn’t have to use those amenities, but they’re conveniently offered!) We also have two dogs that enjoyed the large Pet Run daily. The park is close to town and other outdoor activities, and fishing in the river is ideal. Lastly, the owners Pam and Bob are amazing. They work hard to keep the park running, and maintained. We couldn’t have asked for a better RV park to stay at for this past year. Do yourself a favor and check them out, you won’t be disappointed, they have something for everyone.

With a reserved tent site for the Tuesday night of July 3rd, we rolled in after 9pm and saw that management had a personalized map taped to the check-in door for us. The map directed us to tent site T-19. Following the clearly defined map, we were directed to an absolutely gorgeous tent site! The site was grassy, roomy and located on the Beaverhead River [ which is really stream-sized.] We fell asleep to the sounds of burbling water. Very pleasant. Our site had a red painted wood picnic table and a fire pit. Though located next to the stream sized river, I only saw one tiny mosquito at 9am the next morning and he was quickly dispatched—sorry little guy, it was you or me. The only downside to the location was that I heard a train whistle at 5:30am. My wife didn’t hear it so maybe I am a lite-sleeper. We didn’t use the heated pool but it looked nice and clean and could see steam coming off it in the morning light. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. There is also a store but never made it inside. It looked full the night we arrived and would recommend reservations but they do have a large meadow for overflow. This KOA has a lot of love and care poured in to it, would definitely come back again.

Our recent stay at Beaverhead River RV Park was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to truly unwind and create beautiful memories together.

The first thing that caught our attention was the impeccable cleanliness of the entire park. The well-maintained grounds, pristine pathways, and manicured landscaping reflected the care and attention to detail the staff puts into ensuring a top-notch experience for every guest.

Our children were in absolute paradise! The playground became their daily adventure headquarters. From sunrise to sunset, their laughter filled the air as they explored the swings, slides, and climbing structures. It was heartwarming to see them make new friends and embrace the joys of unbridled play in such a safe and inviting environment.

The real star of the show, however, was the sparkling swimming pool. Our kids practically lived in the water, making new friends and perfecting their cannonballs. The pool area was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, offering plenty of comfortable lounging spaces for parents to relax while still keeping a watchful eye on the fun. It was truly a joy to watch our children splash and play, their faces lit up with happiness.

One aspect that made our stay even more enjoyable was the inclusion of free Wi-Fi. In a world where connectivity is essential, Beaver Head River RV Park surpassed our expectations with strong and reliable internet access. This allowed us to share our breathtaking outdoor experiences with friends and family back home and kept us seamlessly connected throughout our stay.

Another delightful surprise was the dog park. As pet lovers, having a clean and spacious dog park within the premises was a definite highlight. Our furry friend had a blast running freely, and we appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided for our four-legged family member.

But beyond the facilities and amenities, it was the staff's warmth and hospitality that truly stood out. From the moment we checked in, we felt like part of the Beaver Head River RV Park family. The friendly and attentive staff were always ready to assist with a smile, offering local tips and ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect.

In conclusion, Beaverhead River RV Park is an exceptional destination for families seeking a harmonious blend of relaxation, adventure, and comfort. The free Wi-Fi, inviting pool, captivating playground, and pristine dog park come together to create an unforgettable experience. We left with hearts full of gratitude and memories that will last a lifetime. We're already counting down the days until our next visit to this true slice...
