Beaverhead Lodge — Hotel in Dillon

Avoid staying here. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and have low standards for how clean your room is it would be fine if you get a good rate, but for $125USD I expected better. I would guess the recent five star reviews were left by friends of the owners. The rooms are big and look tidy but they smell bad and are not cleaned well. I asked to be moved from my original room and the second one was better but still dirty. The tub is full of soap scum and the drain runs slow. The toilet hadn’t been scrubbed in a long time and the seat was barely attached. The coffee maker was full of gunk and there was a dead fly stuck to the window. The bed sheets and cover had some deep set stains in them. The laminate floors are so filthy that socks were dirty after a few minutes of walking on them. I get that Americans wear shoes inside all the time but the floors should still get mopped. The desk attendant was pleasant when I asked to be moved, but the next room was open and hadn’t been cleaned at all and she seemed annoyed when I came back a second time but apologized for the mix up. I was given keys for a third room which I accepted would be the best I was going to get without moving to another hotel. The breakfast is a low-end motel breakfast with cold cereals, a few hot items and a waffle maker, as well as some coffee and juices. The lobby area where the breakfast is offered was dirty with spills on the floor. The desk attendant was more occupied with her phone than with keeping the breakfast items stocked and the area wiped/cleaned. I had to ask for items that had run out to be replaced. I described all the problems when I checked out and the desk clerk thanked me for letting her know what her housekeeper needed to do better but didn’t offer any discount on my stay. Will not...

I wish I could give 10 stars! Our experience staying here was absolutely wonderful. The customer service is stellar, and it's immediately apparent the staff strives to offer a wonderful experience to the customers. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always inviting. The rooms were the cleanest that we had experienced on our 2 week road trip! They offered an in room mini fridge, coffee, tea, and microwave as extras. The bed was comfortable, well made, and fresh smelling. The pillows were fluffy, and there were extra pillows on the bed, another plus! I was excited to find the shower caddy offered wonderful smelling shampoo, body wash, and conditioner! As a reviewer, I literally could not find a single thing wrong with our room, and we had a wonderful night of uninterrupted sleep! This is the quietest motel we have EVER stayed in! The air/ heat unit worked perfectly and kept us at a perfect room temperature. The location is perfect for noise reduction, and as a bonus, there is wildlife by the stream to add to the relaxing experience. We were even more impressed upon realizing they offer a full breakfast area that includes a home cooked fresh bar of eggs, sausage and potatoes. There is multiple breakfast options, including fresh food, juice, waffles, cereal, drinks, yogurts.. so many options to start your day on a full stomach and a smile! All part of the amazing customer service they offer. You won't regret spending a peaceful and relaxing night here! The prices were the lowest in the area , and the motel is the nicest! There is ample parking for larger vehicles, and parking area is clean and well kept. They work very hard to make your experience A+ and it shows in the perfect experience they offer, 10 stars would...

⚠️Find an alternative door stopper explanation later⚠️Immediately, after making sure the original lower quoted price was honored. Room was clean newly updated. No fridge or microwave my girlfriend wanted one they provided it. Walls can hear everything other rooms and especially outside. Make sure you put a suitcase or door stopper at door. They (attendants) do not knock and the kid oddly timed it during our morning intimate time. Stared at my girlfriend luckily she had a blanket over herself. Just keyed in the door I heard it and was yelling still kept opening the door. Still stared at her for some reason. As always take before and after pictures. Would be a 3 or 4 had not dealt with coming into our room without knocking and continued although I was yelling.

With their response. These folks flat out lier's. NO KNOCK at all!!! I wasn't sleeping nor was she We heard the key card and knew. The knocks and all outside are very easy to hear. As well you made no apology what so ever. 2 doors down and hear the knock like you was really paying attention for that specifically 2 doors down?! It was not afternoon it was late morning and I paid for the second night. People take their response and think about it yourself. Makes sense? I don't really look to poorly rate someone doesn't make my life better wasting my time here. Never asked for anything. Just giving out facts. Take the advice fix it and move on.
