Budget Motel — Hotel in Dillon

We were on travel's and needed a break and some sleep,came upon this motel. Rang a doorbell,when a lady appeared, apparently had been sleeping, came to a window and took our service. The room was $55, not bad at all, we had no cash and used a card,which brought the amount to $57 and some change. Got all set,when the woken up lady, then informed us that there was no television,that her husband was trying to get fixed????? Ok, we were tired enough not to care. Got in the room, roaches and flying ants everywhere, ugggg. TV not working because they are not hooked up to be set up. In my opinion,too cheap to provide at least one luxury. There was a mini fridge and microwave. A/C worked great. Note on door stating when you check out,turn off all lights and A/C. And we had to check out by 10 am,she wouldn't budge on an 11 am check out,which is the norm for most motels. All in All, it was cheap and a place to lay our heads for a while. To the sleeping lady and her husband,take care of the bugs, holes in your thin blankets and get that television situation up...

Stayed here in June when I went to grab some fireworks from South of the Border. Rates that won’t break the bank and accommodations that are nice for the price. Checked in late at night, got a decent night’s sleep and was on my way the next morning. Want something nicer? Plan ahead and save some money. In a pinch and need a cheap place to stay last minute so you don’t have to drive tired or try to sleep in your cramped car? This place is your savior. Thanks Budget Motel and sleepy Indian lookin’ overnight reception guy!

One more thing, don’t use that single use toothbrush they give you. It says it’s got toothpaste coating the bristles but it lasts for a second and you end up brushing your teeth with just a toothbrush, which feels gross. I appreciate the...

Only had to stay for one night. Asked for a 1 bed smoking room... what do we get? A nasty two bed smoking room! Literally the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at!!! Went to take a shower and the hot water literally lasted 2 minutes and didn’t even work right! It kept coming out of the faucet even with the shower head turned all the way on! This place needs to be torn down! Not worth the $60! & even at that our grandmother literally stayed three doors down from us and hers was just as disgusting! But she got a big king size bed when she asked for 2 and then only paid $40 for the same exact nastiness! Clearly nothing in the place gets cleaned and there were even candy wrappers on the floor!
