Let's face it this is a real no frills place to stay. Mismatched pillows, sheets, and other linens. The room was clean (an absolute minimum in any stay). The reuse of shampoo bottles (as evidenced by the near worn out labels is surprising and off putting. No telling what they are refilled with. Let's face it with 3.4 ounces being the max allowed on planes, who brings their own? Checkout was smooth, checkin the woman was in no way friendly or personable. You can tell that the management is squeezing every penny they can (reuse of shampoo bottles, see through toilet paper, mismatched linens, etc.). The positives, which seems like the minimum are: 1) Clean. 2) Inexpensive. 3) No visible insects. 4) Quiet (but it is the off season). For a few nights, in a pinch, sure why not.

Welcome to the early 1980’s. When I entered the room it smelled musty, the window was wide open and the screen was partially pushed out. Upon closing and locking the window I also noticed a bar to place in the window sill to prevent anyone o. The outside from sliding it open. The bathroom and bedding were clean. The queen bed it busted down on one side and rock hard and lumpy on the other. If you just need to get off the interstate to sleep and can’t make it to Scranton this will do. It is bug free and that’s the important part.

We needed a place to stay for one night. Arrived late. Room was spacious but the beds were hard, so we didn't sleep well. Motel is behind Chinese buffet. Description of room mentioned mountain view, but we couldn't see any when we got up in the morning.

Very bad situation here during a recent visit. The first room we were assigned to had heavy smell of cigarette smoke with strong smell of fragrance to cover the obvious odor of the cigarettes. We had to change rooms due to the awful odor. There was garbage with ants right outside the room, just laying on the ground. The toilet was extremely low and it did not flush - I will omit the specifics regarding the toilet. It was awful! We called the front desk and they didn't believe us...nasty owner! We took pics of the toilet. The room was damp. The bathroom door was swollen and consequently, it couldn't open and close....same thing with the main door to the room. There was no grab bar in the slippery shower. The alarm clock was covered with a sticky, disgusting substance. The freezer compartment in the refrigerator was missing its door. The steps to the upstairs rooms were very dangerous. The A/C unit was so noisy, that it kept us up all night. There was some type of trailer with garbage as the view behind all the rooms/the rear side of the property -- terrible! No coffee pot in the room. It was a miserable stay! We couldn't wait to check out! Stay somewhere else...anywhere...

Our trip to New Hampshire was more than I could do in one day. We called around to find a place to stay over night that would accept a dog. The owners were very accommodating. We travel with our dog all the time, have stayed in much more expensive motels that were nowhere near as nice as this Rodeway. I do not know where the people who are complaining stay but my wife and I believe this is by far better than they are rating. My wife always checks for cleanliness' and was much surprised that she did not need to clean any areas. The furniture was a little outdated but that is no big deal. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to walk our dog. There are some people who seem to be regulars but they were very nice and quiet. There is no continental breakfast but just 5 minutes away is the Milford Diner, which has great prices for take out and by the time you get there from the motel the food is ready so there is no waiting and the food is great. My wife and I would stay again in a heartbeat. If you are in the area I would highly recommend the...

There were no other options for hotels in the area where we stayed, so this hotel was our only option. I definitely WILL NOT recommend this hotel chain to any members of the military. I spent 20 years in the Navy, and enjoy my military discounts at hotels. I checked in, and was told there was NO military discount. Also, the hotel I stayed in had diamond plate metal stairs that were outside the hotel leading to the second floor where my wife and I stayed, and it rained most of the time we were there. These stairs get VERY slippery when they get wet, and there was NO non-skid on these stairs. Also, one time my wife had just gotten out of the shower, and one of the cleaning agents walked into the room without knocking first to let us know they were there. There was NO breakfast, and the coffee was not fresh. Finally... THE INTERNET WAS THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED. We kept telling the guy at the desk, and he kept saying he would fix it. There was NO signal at all, and when we could get on the internet, it would kick us off within 5 minutes. Overall, very...
