What a beautiful experience - this B&B is absolutely immaculate inside and out, a two-minute walk to Douglas Beach Park and the owners are just lovely. My fiancé and I wanted a short getaway and took our time comparing accommodations before deciding on Sherwood Forest. We were already excited after booking on the website but on arrival we were impressed beyond words not only by the carefully curated atmosphere but also how professional the owners were while still remaining warm and welcoming. Jim checked us in and gave a thorough breakdown of policies and schedule, had great suggestions for things to do in the area and made us both feel very comfortable and well taken care of. Noelene was super friendly and chilled out, so funny and a pleasure to chat with.

We spent one night in the Log Cabin room which was surprisingly spacious (especially the bathroom - wow!), with an enormous jacuzzi tub and two-sided fireplace. We added a wine and cheese tray to our package and were stunned when we saw the size of the tray and how varied the assortment was. The room also had a shelf stocked with books, puzzles and cute little games, but we spent most of the evening either enjoying the outdoor scenery or soaking in the jacuzzi. Coffee and breakfast on the picturesque porch was really something special. The food was absolutely out of this world in terms of quality and freshness, and prepared/served with a level of consideration and care that will definitely stick with me. By morning we were already recommending this place to friends and family - but if there had been any doubt, that breakfast would have sealed the deal.

This is a tasteful and charming establishment run with demonstrable devotion and unmatched grace. 10/10, the most relaxed we've been in a long time. Wish we could have stayed longer; next time we're aiming for that cottage! Thanks...

A stunning retreat in a gorgeous setting!

My partner and I reserved the cottage and all but 1 room for our family. Every single aspect of the Forest Inn is beautiful and thoughtfully done. Every room has its own look/feel but all are stunning with modern amenities. We saw every room while we were there and would happily stay in any one of them.

The cottage was incredible and is stocked with anything you could need (e.g., pots, pans, silverware, ziploc bags, toiletries). Such a great space that felt so comfortable. It's clear that Eric and Tracey put so much thought into the renovation and how they wanted the Inn to feel for their guests.

Every space in the Inn, rooms, and cottage was spotless. Even the outdoor spaces were clean and well-kept. We loved using the fire pit during the cold evenings we had and hope to come back when it's warm enough to use the pool!

The location could not be better. You are about a block away from Douglas Beach, 5 minutes from Saugatuck, close to tons of walking/hiking trails, and the Inn itself is in a quiet, wooded setting that is so relaxing. We didn't want to leave!

Eric and Tracey could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. They were there for any questions we had throughout our stay and wow, the breakfast was beyond anything I could have imagined.
