Read morePart of the IHG/Holiday Inn group, these Army Hotels are on various bases around the country and they're a nice place to stay. Civilians are welcome. The staff here is fantastic and helpful. Good prices and the security can't be beat. What's not to love about armed MPs around the place?||This is right in Dublin and easy to find. MAKE SURE you have your driver's license, proof of insurance and current registration BEFORE you get to the front gate! Give this stuff to the guard and they'll give you directions to the hotel at the back side of the base. ||I didn't have a room--I had a one-bedroom apartment and it was very nice. ||Breakfast is included in the room price. I was in a big truck and trailer and there's plenty of room to park a big rig right by the hotel. BART train to San Francisco is at the front gate and the hotel shuttle will take you there.||This is a fine place to stay with a wonderful and cheery and happy staff....
Read moreLet’s start with the positives, the room is a good size and the heating/ cooling systems work well. Now, upon entering the musty smell was overwhelming, the queen bed looked like it belonged in an abandoned home (sitting with only the memory foam mattress and pillows stacked on top of one another), the toilet appeared to have urine in the bowl (later learned it was stained), I found the closets to have objects left behind (I don’t mind the hangers but the wadded up sheets and forgotten boxes seem haphazardly thrown in and forgotten). All in all, I haven’t lived so poorly in the Army since my deployments overseas...and at least then we were able to keep improving our fighting positions and took some pride in our living quarters, making them our own!
