I chose this over other options because the two Home2 Suites I've stayed at in the past, including one recently in the Tri-Cities, were spectacular. Not only were the rooms nice, the pool was good and the breakfast was fantastic. In fact, the last time I stayed, there were breakfast sandwiches, biscuits and gravy, just eggs and sausage and bacon, a whole slew of stuff!!!||This one had rehydrated eggs and the worst paper-thin bacon you could ask for. I've had bacon like this before... only when the franchise owner skimps and goes for the low-end option. The yogurt machine was broken. There were no other options like the previous ones: no breakfast sandwiches, no biscuits and gravy. Heck, I couldn't even do a sandwich on an English muffin because they didn't have that.||The pool was FREEZING and the hot tub was cold. Turns out the system was turned off and staff don't ever check it, I guess. So that was a bummer.||Lotion dispenser falling off the wall next to the mirror in the bathroom.||Additionally, the dogs above our floor just barked and barked and barked. ||Finally, we only had two dishes. Turns out the other ones were all in the dishwasher. So, I guess they washed them, which is good, but it's our job to put them all away (?).||I filled out a customer survey and sent it and because it was a bad experience, some customer service person from Hilton reached out and said they were giving my 5,000 Hilton points. OK... do the math with me: an average Hilton stay across three different cities I checked ranged from 35,000-40,000 points. BUT... to be fair, I took this EXACT same city and looked up a few dates. The amounts were all about 35,000 points. So, that's like them getting back to you and saying, "hey, sorry, for the hassle of completely bombing this, we're giving you a CREDIT worth 14 percent of your stay." That's insulting. That's getting your large pizza messed up and the restaurant saying they're giving you a credit for a single slice next time. WTFreak?!||At this point, it probably would have been better for them to not offer anything than be that insulting, but that horse is already out of the stable.||My only thought is that this was just a cheap franchise owner who is good stepping over dollar bills to pick up dimes; short-term...
Read moreThis hotel should be BLACKLISTED! My husband and I came here to stay from Fort Bragg NC. We are moving to JBLM. We were staying here until our townhouse was ready to move into. We were told we could park our truck and trailer with all of our belongings in the back of the parking lot. After a couple days, someone cut the lock off our trailer and stole thousands of dollars worth of tools and my work equipment. We filed a report with the police. That morning the manager said they would check the cameras and the police watched the video from that night. The footage was to blurry to see anything apparently. Come to find out, not to long ago a whole trailer was stolen from this parking lot, then ours was robbed, and the very next day after we moved our trailer to safe spot on post they had told someone else they could park they’re trailer there! Apparently they don’t care enough that people are losing thousands and can’t even install a camera system that picks up footage where they tell people to park they’re trailers even after all of the robberies in this parking lot! Not even a day after our robbery they had someone else with a trailer park in the same spot. I spoke to another man that has stayed at this hotel many times and he had said that money ( 10 dollars ) had been stolen from his room. At night I have noticed it appears boyfriend(s) of the staff just hangout in the lobby all hours of the night. If they are here just hanging out in the lobby every night til 3 4 in the morning what are they doing for employment ?? I’ve seen many weird things going on in this hotel. The rooms are clean and very nice but something weird is going on with this place. Be careful leaving anything valuable in your rooms and definitely be careful if you have a trailer full of valuables. We weren’t the first to have things stolen from us at this hotel and I don’t think we will...
Read moreWe lived here for 13 days waiting for our house. Service leaves soooo much to be desired! If you want a pool for your kids this is NOT the place! The pool is kept so cold even the kids refused to get in. An Alaskan family who was also trying to swim said the lakes in their part of Alaska were warmer 🤦🏼♀️ they wouldn’t get in! Plus the tile they put in at the pool gets VERY slick and we watched MULTIPLE people walking carefully still fall!
Breakfast is frustrating when you are their day after day! They are living on the defensive not the plan ahead side of things. They open in the morning only to realize oh no bread was thawed so yep no bread for breakfast, oh and they ran out of milk the day before but didn’t think to get more till they tried to open that morning with no milk! Or the one that killed me the whole time we were there! We HAVE NO BOWLS! They said they ordered more but they hadn’t come in. So go get some paper bowls while you wait!!!! Every morning no bowls so no cereal or oatmeal unless you eat it on a plate. If you asked the people behind the counter any questions they roll eyes and act like how dare you ask about anything! Washers and dryers were not working and with so many people staying for long periods of time like us we need to be able to wash our clothes and got a hotel on purpose that we should have been able to wash our clothes in.
We stayed in a deluxe suit which was so nice and clean. It had two rooms a front living room that our kids slept in and a bedroom that mom and dad slept in meaning mom and dad didnt have to go to bed at the same time as the kids! The room was amazing and we have no complaints about it.
The location is right along the high way which is loud at night BUT makes it EASY to get anywhere. It is also right outside a gate to fort Lewis making getting...
