I was on a solo road trip in July 2025 and had been looking for a basic hotel in Illinois to stay at on the Wednesday night as I was starting my journey. I found this Super 8, and it was a perfect location off the Interstate for what I needed.||I arrived at around 10 or 11 p.m. It was quiet, and I was able to get checked in pretty easily. The front-desk attendant who checked me in was friendly and helpful. My room (#111) was clean and comfortable... no issues at all. Save your money and pay the extra for a more reliable hotel with better...

The hallways made us nervous - there was a musty smell, cigarettes smell, dirty/aged carpet and extremely hot. However, the rooms were perfect. Renovated, comfortable beds and air conditioner worked great - cooled the room down quickly and their were no smells in the room. It was nice to have an air conditioner that stayed on all night - not like the newer hotels where they shut down in the middle of the night because they are motion activated. Not many options of places to stay in Dwight, but this one is...
