I had a recent stay at Krupps Resort while on a quick vacation to the U.P. In the mid-ish March timeframe. My family and I didn’t come up to go snowmobiling, but a visit to the area to see family.
Communication: There was absolutely no issues here with the owner of Krupps! Casandra was clear with everything, very friendly and professional.
Check-In: There were nonissues at all with this process. Casandra had given me clear instructions of the check in process digitally and we were able to connect later in person.
Cleanliness: The cabin was super clean! All beds were fresh, floors were clean, refrigerator was clean, and the bathroom were cleaned.
Price: The price note was fantastic for what we got! Amazing deal for sure!
Overall Impression: As soon as we walked into the cabin and saw the kitchen and how stocked it was with all of the kitchen appliances and supplies we were blown away! Easily could have gone grocery shopping and cooked all kinds of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Bedrooms were nice and cozy with comfortable beds to sleep on. We had a couch, lazy boy, and TV in the living room area. We didn’t watch tv at all but we did test it and it worked fine lol. The area was really nice in general with all of the snow! There were several sledders in the area as well and there was no disturbances from anyone.
Recommendation: Absolutely!! I highly recommend this place to stay when you are in the heart of Gods Country...
Read moreHad the opportunity to rent an RV spot at Krupps and had a positive experience for the entire time we were there. (14 days) The parking area has plenty of room to get our 35 foot 5th wheel in. Water in the RV park area had great pressure, and tastes good. Trash cans next to sites are continuously emptied. We requested an extension of our stay and although we had to move because of a prior existing reservation we were given the option of another site. We were able to enjoy the resorts little beach, swam out to the floating dock and was able to jump off cannon ball style into the water (plenty deep enough) there is also a floating mat type of water "toy" we swam and layed on. The wifi was a little weak at our RV but expected as we were in a rural area and in all actuality should have been spending more time enjoying the water. Cassandra, the owner and property manager did everything she could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Bonus... Krupps little store on the edge of the property but on the highway, has FRESH Pasties daily, numerous U.P. exclusive items, alcohol sales, and convenience store items.
Highly recommend Krupps...
Read moreWe were meant to spend the weekend but unfortunately the cabin was only available for one night. Family from 3 states got together and we took over the resort. |New owners and they are friendly and accommodating. Slowly updating the entire place. |Location of the cabin to the lake is better than most anywhere I’ve stayed. Fire rings, Grills, picnic tables yard chairs, strong WiFi. The Lake is beautiful and your also not too far from the mighty Lake Superior. Tubing, fishing, water skiing. |The cabins are not perfect, beds were a little too firm for our liking and some minor things that still need to be done. Nothing that interrupted our good time. You can see they are updating the place and repairing what needs it, as they can. The rooms were clean and well kept, and lets face it, who’s there to hang out on the cabin anyway? Clean and comfortable, that’s what we look for. |Checking was as easy as it gets and same with leaving. |We’d...
