Gasparilla Inn Beach Club — Hotel in Englewood

Overall Good Experience.. Facility smells somewhat mold and musty upon arrival and stayed that way during stay. Buildings are old although renovated, cracking and wobbling, squeaking and I could hear when someone is walking at the corridor all day. The old building gives me peace and I enjoyed sometimes being in that structure as a part of history. My other part of family stayed off the main building and they said they enjoyed more their stay because of their amenities are more updated. Housekeepers are a little rude starting from their manager to the staff, it is like annoying them when asking something. Guest service wasn’t polite either, doesn’t answer phone and had to call twice to reach them. When I observe, see that entire guest service staff was looking bothered and arrogant while talking to customers. Seems like employee doesn’t like interacting customers and wanna do their daily work alone! Spa and the club was the best part of my vacation, staff was professional, pool, food and gym was adequate… No problem at that side. I will definitely come back this side of the state again but maybe u would just visit the spa and stay...

The BEST in locations for a Florida wedding by the beach!! I just photographed a wedding at the Gasparilla Inn and Beach Club, and I can't speak more highly of it! Phenomenal staff take care of the guests. Plenty of parking that's easily accessible for guests. Gorgeous ceremony and reception spaces. Social hour by the pool. But best of all as a photographer, there are ENDLESS stunning photo opportunities! Photos by the beach, in the banyan trees, by the many beautiful Boca Grande buildings... its a a dream location....

There is a $6 CASH ONLY Toll booth on the only road out there that does not accept your transponders and it also shows up as closed on Google maps as well as UBER refuses to reimburse their drivers for any tolls paid out of pocket for crossing this bridge. Who is responsible for running this toll bridge and under whose authority are they allowed to do so like this? Something smells fishy 🎣🐟🐠🎏 Update: UBER did decide to pay after seeing a copy of the receipt. Hopefully it won't be an issue again, we...
