We spent two nights here in August 2013 because it was the only thing available due to a nearby annual event.||||From the outside, the little cabin type buildings look real cozy but on the inside they're really on their last legs.||||Some of the issues we found included: Very loose toilet seat; only one functioning light bulb out of four sockets in the bathroom (one was missing, two burned out); broken blinds in two windows; blistering paint in the bathroom with bare sheet rock exposed; unpainted replacement bathroom door trim; extremely worn and dated flooring; backwards plumbing in the shower; windows which were difficult to open; and the list goes on.||||Of the thousand plus places I've overnighted in my life, this one is in the bottom ten in condition.||||Would strongly recommend...
   Read moreI made reservations for the Country Inn a few weeks before our travels, but when we arrived the office was closed and the place was empty (not to mentioned worn down). I knocked on the office door and made several phone call attempts, leaving messages. We went and grabbed dinner and came back a hour later to see if anyone had showed up but still nothing. We went looking for other lodging accommodations in Enterprise but due to the wildfires, the hotels were filled with firefighters. The manager at a nearby hotel was kind enough to call around to other hotels for us and was able to locate an opening in a town about 20 miles away which turned out to be a motel in better condition and at a lower nightly rate than what I was going to pay at the...
   Read moreStayed during a cold winter night and there was NO hot water. We couldn't shower or clean up. In the a.m I went and spoke with owners. Darrell/Owner came with me and verified there was No hot water. Went into adjoining room to check. No hot water. There was hit water in Water heater but pipes under rooms/hotel were frozen. I asked about adjusting rate. Wife told Darrel not to charge us. I offered to pay half. Darrell was mad and said to just forget it and so we left. They STILL charge us full amount on our card almost a month afterwards. I suppose they thought we wouldn't notice. When I called today and asked about it, Darrell called was irate and hung up on me.
