Lazy River Camping Area — Hotel in Epsom

This hidden gem is fantastic camping, whether you're tenting or in an RV. Each site has water and electric, I believe most sites have a sewer hookup. They have all types of sites: in the woods, cleared out grassy areas, next to the play areas (perfect for parents!), near the river, right next to the river...definitely take half a day to float down the slow moving river to the beach at the other end of the campground as many times as you can. There's also showers, a laundromat, 2 play areas, restrooms, a pool, horseshoes, huge lawns for football, frizbee and other sports and a beach-it's small rocks, you'll want sandals! There is a strict 5 mph policy, but this campground is super kid-friendly. There are seasonal sites, weekly rental sites for $152 and it only costs $26 a night per site, even on the weekends. And if you want to just hang out for the day and enjoy the river, pool and play areas, it's $3. Definitely beyond worth the price-and you can check in at 9 AM! Can't wait to go back in a...

Went to visit family here for the day. First, they charged $3 dollars for each adult and I unfortunately didn’t have cash so the staff claimed they “had” to charge me at least $4 to run my card. Not the end of the world but like... why? Second, as I’m driving down to the site I get SCREAMED at also SWEARED at with my child in the back seat of my car might I add, by people sitting by the pool saying I’m driving too fast when I know I was going SLOW. I’m in a standard, you can only go so slow before you stall out. Also a man saying he runs the place with a beer in his hand, and swearing in front of children. Classic. Third, as I’m going to leave, people are still SCREAMING at me as I pass by stating I’m driving too fast. While I’m being extra cautious from my previous encounter and not wanting anymore attention from these people! These “seasonal stayers” need to be more polite before they scare all of your potential guests away. I will NEVER book a site here because of my terrible...

Will never camp here again!!!! The camp site was awesome but the seasonal campers like to party and keep you up all night ! Hey I like to have fun but I have respect for other people when it gets late!!

Just wanted to add the second night was extremely loud! We had thought it was the wedding party we were told we would be no where near it it turns out they were right behind us. At 10 pm my father in law walked over to the site and asked them to turn it down nicely and they said there was nothing we could do about it as quiet hrs were 11. 11:30 came still very loud with horrible singing so father in law went back over and told them if it doesn’t stop they would call owners ! They said oh the owner doesn’t care it’s my aunt and she lets us party !!! NEVER AGAIN these people need to go in an empty field to camp and be as loud as they want not in a public...
