After hours of driving, the weariness had set in, and the decision to book a room through Hotwire was made in hopes of rest and savings. The room obtained did not disappoint; it was more than just a place to stay—it was a haven. The ambiance was reminiscent of an old church, exuding a sense of peace and familiarity that was deeply comforting. Safety was palpable, a testament to the staff's dedication to even the smallest of details, ensuring that every aspect of the room contributed to a welcoming atmosphere. And the bed, it was a revelation in comfort, a cloud-like embrace that promised and delivered a deep, restorative sleep. Sinking into it was like being enveloped in a gentle hug, and it made waking up a challenge, with the allure of the soft sheets tempting one to linger just a bit longer. The thought of a 2pm checkout time was enticing, hinting at the possibility of indulging in the luxury of sleep without the rush of an early morning departure. It was an experience that left a lasting impression, one that beckoned for a repeat visit, where the promise of rest and relaxation could be savored once more. Read more2hours ago we checked In to a Days Inn in Erick, OK. The previous night we stayed in a very clean old Days Inn in Lonoke, Ok. We expected for a low price hotel the Days Inn in Erick would also be acceptable. The room was awful. We have never done this before but WE LEFT!. Pictures attached. The smell in room was awful! The bed was not made. The spread was just pulled up and bed skirt pulled up with the spread. No soap in bathroom. No soap anywhere! Carpet nasty and torn as well as holes in drapes. The lamp light flickered and found The extension cord was split which is an electrical shock hazard. We anticipated trying to stay so went to the Dollar General and bought soap and room deodorizer. But it was hopeless. We left and when in our car our clothes still stunk from the room odor. I honestly don’t know how other reviews could be 5 star. I’m saying DO NOT BOOK...
Read moreBecause of some unexpected events, I had to stay in Erick for about 2 days. It's remote. It's on the interstate. No Uber, no Lyft, just Days Inn. Next to the hotel you can get a Pizza and Love's subway across the street. Coffee was provided, and when I checked in, the friendly service at the front desk relieved my exhausted body and mind. Although the rooms they provided looked old on the outside, they were very clean and tidy inside without any Bugs. Lying on the white sheets and pillows can smell the refreshing taste they emit, giving people a cool feeling in this hot summer. Wake up with a pleasant feeling, not an itch from bug bites. The best thing that happened to me on this unfortunate journey was that I stayed at this hotel. I hope you can keep it up and provide quality room service to more...
