Bellevue Guesthouse — Hotel in Exeter

Waking up to this most amazing view, with humming birds and Ava and Ozzy's lovely bespoke breakfasts and hospitality was just heaven. Part of our 3 week California road trip this was one of the most memorable places we stayed. Just a short drive from the entrance to Sequoia National Park, the rooms were clean, comfy and air conditioned. The guesthouse is exclusive to just one booking; as we were 2 couples we had a shared bathroom which actually worked fine. After exploring for 2 full days, Ava and Ozzy gave great advice of where to go, allowed us to use their fridge/freezer and loaned us a cool box for our days out. They were fantastic hosts. The only downside was the drive way which was very steep and narrow (although saying that, if you can navigate the drive, you'll be fine on the roads around the national park!). |Would thoroughly recommend-hope we can go...

An off-road experience leads you to this quaint B&B which has incredible views of the High Sierras. We were greeted by our hosts Ozzy and Eva and escorted through a day room containing an eclectic mix of objet d'art to a balcony/decking area and were offered either tea or a beer. Very civilized. My wife and I were the only guests and therefore were able to make a choice between the two bedrooms. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a view up the valley to the mountains but some attention is required , e.g. ceiling fan, wardrobe door and plug in wash hand basin. However, this B&B is the perfect place for solitude and easy access to Sequoia National Park. The breakfasts on the balcony were simply the best we have ever experienced in our global travels. Everything was special to us: Location, Service, Breakfast & Comfort.||Bellevue Guesthouse's location is just about two miles from entrance to Sequoia NP, in a very quiet surrounding. It is a little bit remote, no other people and buildings around us, but it is not far to restaurants, the market and gas station.||Ozzy & Eva are highly experienced innkeepers, help and advise are available when needed.||The breakfast exceeded our expectations.
