Piyush Patel, I'm not sure how someone that lives Yukon, OK can manage a hotel in Fairview, OK? This is apparent to me after staying in your hotel Friday - Sunday. From the smell of pet urine at the front entry, fresh motor/transmission oil on the entry driveway, leaves and debris inside the front entry, the "full" trash can outside of the first floor elevator (full for three days), the dirty tile floor (3 days) in the elevator, tub/shower curtains that are to short, dirty breakfast tables, luke-warm gravy (gravy & biscuits) and the worst of all, your 1-800 Best Western reservation line booking a handicapped room and then finding out upon arrival that that room isn't available and your hotel only has one handicap accessible room, shame on you and your reservation hot-line.
It's not the fault of your employees, it's yours. How can you "call-it in" as a manager. Everyone of your staff are kind and pleasant enough people, though they are lacking leadership, and I'm not surprised to see that this hotel is for sale, I would assume that for business/tax reasons (depreciation) it is passed it's peak and it's time to unloaded it. Read moreThe room was spacious and clean. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. At first, I thought they might be too firm, but I slept better than I ever imagined I would. The free hot breakfast was great! We had our pups with us (it's a dog friendly hotel) and the staff was super friendly toward us and our fur-babies. The only two cons were 1) the luggage trolleys were in horrible condition and 2) nobody was ever at the front desk. The luggage trolley was falling apart and we were afraid to use it because it could have easily resulted in someone getting hurt. To get assistance at the front desk, I had to hit the bell a few times and then wait after the desk manager yelled "be there in a minute!" I don't know how they prevent getting robbed in the convenience item area. If I were such a person, I could easily have loaded up! Aside from those things, everything else was exceptional. The housekeeping staff was great and very good at their job! The television and air conditioning worked great and Internet was stable. They are a terrific option if you are need accommodations in...
Read moreFirst, I want to say that I did not complain to the front desk about anything, so I did not give them a chance to remedy the problem. I also like the staff and have had no problems with them. The problem was that my room was not clean. I could tell it had been vacuumed over, the bedding was clean, and the bathroom had been tended to. The dresser/tv stand had dry hit sauce spilled on it. It had even dripped into the drawers. The "fresh remote" also had hot sauce all over it. Obviously, they just put the remote back into the bag. There were beer bottle caps behind the corner chair. Normally, I wouldn't notice that, but the lamp in that corner wasn't plugged in, so I had to find the cord to do so. The round table by the corner chair also had something spilled on it. I do not expect a deep cleaning after every customer leaves, but I don't want hard evidence on who the previous visitor was. I did clean what I needed to use. :/ This was room 322 on 3/27/18. Hope...
