Let me just start by saying that I’ve never been so disappointed before by my stay at a hotel/motel... when we got here, most of the lights were out in the room, our shower curtain had period blood on it (ladies you can tell, clots & all), the blankets all have cigarette burn holes in them & are very thin, you will be woken up by the light that shines through your window because the curtain doesn’t cover well, the microwave is soooo SMALL, & WiFi spazzes in & out, so you never know if you’ll have it right when you need it. Our faucet in the bathroom leaks, & the bathroom is always moist, even has mold growing in it. Do NOT use the laundry service, you will be highly disappointed!! What you would’ve done in 2 loads, they will purposely do in 5 loads. Then the man won’t even dry your clothes all the way, & he’ll complain to you about how much his back hurt from doing your laundry AT THE LAUNDROMAT!!! Lmao! But yeah, you’ll be surprised when you have a $50 laundry bill... we were. (He doesn’t work for the hotel. He’s someone they advertised to us.) & at the last place we stayed, I left the Do Not Disturb sign on my door infinitely with not issues. Do not expect to do that here. I get skepticism & all, but I’ve been sleeping in late because I can’t sleep at night here, & they will call your room every 3 days at about 10AM (maybe earlier) because they really wanna change your sheers & such. I liked staying in the other place better because I washed all that myself. It was much easier to just handle my own business. I’m not a people person & I don’t trust the same people that they trust to do these jobs because I don’t know them or what they’re capable of taking/doing, & their policy is that they’re not responsible for my items...then leave me be? This place is WAAYYYY overpriced, & you don’t get discounted for staying a week at a time either. NOT WORTH YOUR HARD...
Read moreThere's a reason there's a no refund sign. Front desk help was great, they were very helpful and welcoming; beyond that it all went down hill. This was by far the nastiest place I've ever stayed and i stay in alot of hotels for work. Not a single towel of any kind, i was handed toilet paper at check in so i at least had that. No soap of any kind. Door to the room didn't lock. Thankfully the beds were the cleanest thing in the room, not fancy but most of the bedding seemed clean. Now the bed skirt on one bed has what I'm assuming is dried vomit, it matched the dried vomit on the carpet. The bathroom floor and the floor in front of the sink haven't seen a mop who knows how long, the amount of hair and hair/sticky mess on the floors gave that away. The flat surfaces haven't been wiped down apparently since the mop went missing. Microwave was gross, and my kids can give lessons on how to vacuum if the staff needs a few tips. I was told this was the only room left, seriously though do the public a favor and just say your booked. I will gladly just sleep in my pickup next time if this is the only option...
Read moreAbsolute best. Thanks to Pam especially. Taking a cross country trip on my motorcycle, sorting out stops in the smaller cities and towns and stumbled on this gem.Was complaining to Pam the manager about not being able to find a printed road Atlas, she took it upon herself to call around to find one. Well, she found one at a local auto insurance writer. Found me a new old stock one from 2019. Just what I was looking for because I travel the old State and Federal highways. The rooms and the grounds were spotless, had a good heat and eat breakfast(Jimmy Dean). She said they used to cook their own but had to stop because of state laws. They're are motorcycle friendly. Fred her husband rides. The bowling alley across the road makes a fresh, huge burger. They also have a pretty good selection of other food. Thanks again to Pam and her family for a pleasant stay, your help and good conversation. Spotless, nice showers, reasonably priced. No corporate attitude here! It's been many a year since I've had as pleasant experience. It was nice enough to detour 100 miles on my return to stay...
