DO NOT BOOK A ROOM HERE first room we went into there was hair all over the bath tub and bed sheets there was literally a dirt ring around the bathtub then while i was putting my food away i had 50 roachs running to my food it was like friendly roachs so that means they where there a long time they tried to crawl on me while i was eating it was so gross the a/c was not working the bed sheets where black and nasty with hair you could tell the housekeeper fluffed the same old sheets out and reused them so i asked to move to a different room now this room was a bit better but not really the patio was disgusting so bad cigarettes everywhere bathtub was dirty and the fridge was broke thankfully maintenance got up there to fix it what did it for me was my 11 month old son was chewing on a nugget of weed thank god me an dad seen him chewing on something and quickly got it out of his mouth he was playing in the curtains so im assuming it was behind there we are not sure if any was swolled then the housekeeper put a paper under my door that they couldn’t do my stay over service because the dnd sign but the sign was NOT hanging up on the door it was in the bathroom ! so she lied and i had all my old towels waiting for her outside the door that she took ! this really sucked it was my daughters 10th birthday and my son was turning 1 thats why we evacuated to have a good time i would have rather stayd for the hurricane i was told i would have 1 night free of charge when i checked out i only got 20% off very disappointed after what we had to put up with i work for a hotel in stpete so i know how front desk works im a assistant general manager we tryd to extend for 1 more night since my kids did not get to go in the pool due to them closing it so when it opened we wanted to stay 1 more night so our kids could atleast enjoy one day but at the front desk we where told there was no rooms available which was a lie because i called after we left and there was rooms available i acted like i was someone else thats truely sad to not want to let us pay for another night when we did nothing wrong and on booking.com there was 9 rooms available still so i guess because we complained about the room they did not want to service us the ONLY good part about this hotel was the maintenance men where very helpful and very well mannered and the breakfast attendants where amazing but if i could give this place 0 stars i would i regret booking here and will be contacting hire up

My daughter's credit card has been charged a service fee that was the same price as the hotel room. It seems kinda sketchy, but they say the service fee will be removed in 3 to 5 business days. We will definitely be following up through the credit card company. They had a game room with a pool table and a machine with six or eight arcade games, and a pin all machine. It looked pretty cool, but I did not play either. I do believe they were coin operated which seems contrary to the design of such a place. They clearly aren't making money on this small room, so why would they charge a measly fee to participate? It left the room vacant, and I never saw anyone playing in it. The balcony overlooking the courtyard was a nice touch to the otherwise plain hotel room. The beds and sheets were clean; the bathroom was clean, and the shower head had three settings. However, the carpets were damp, and there was a mildewy smell, especially in the hallway. It was a shame we could not enjoy the balcony because someone was smoking nearby. I wish we'd had time to swim in the pool and walk around the courtyard, but the astroturfed walkways on the outside of the perimeter seemed a bit "artificial" and awkward. Their breakfast had little to be desired. I overheard them tell someone that they serve hot breakfast on weekends. I guess we're somehow less human on weekdays. C'est la vie, I guess. The options I saw on Tuesday were carbs, carbs, and carbs. They had the traditional American waffles, sugary cereal and instant grits. They had juice, coffee, and water, and the fresh fruit options were oranges and bananas. It could be worse, but overall, the breakfast was disappointing. I debated on two or three stars for the hotel, given the deposit, the "free smells" (but not good ones) in the room, and lack of adequate breakfast options; (again, I guess it's better on weekends). Overall, if I were looking for another night in Pensacola, this would not be among my list of options.

NO ELEVATOR! FYI Didn't notice our door had a gap in it until after I got out of the shower (which is near the front door). I had to hang a towel on the door handle and stuff a washcloth in the lower part of the gap. Anytime the ac would come on, you got a whiff of weed. Wasn't impressed with the breakfast. They used some sort of seasoning on the eggs that didn't really go with it. That was my biggest turnoff. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and it was hotter than hell up there, but you go to the far other side, and the 2nd floor was freezing, which made no sense. There were what I assumed portable ac units and fans in the hallway on our floor. Our 1st night (after driving 16-17 hrs there) at 12:30am I hear a door alarm to a room going off (sounds like an alarm clock going off), and some lady in the hallway having a very loud conversation (video attached). If you're in a bind and need a place to rest, and no other choice for the price I guess it's okay. But we won't be back there. After my mom asked about why her room didn't have a phone in the room, and to let them know there was what looked like paint chips all in the floor of her bathroom and tub, the staff member was a bit short with her; I didn't see the need to even mention these issues. Pictures I saw when trying to book a room look like from when the hotel 1st opened up.

I reserved a room at this hotel through the hotels website. This would be my second time staying here for vacation. The reason for the return was due to a pleasant stay 2 yrs prior. I arrived on Friday evening, 06/13/2025, I requested to inspect my room before checking in/paying. Upon entering the second floor hall, I was met with a musty, mildew order. Once entering the room, the same oder was lingering. I returned to the front desk, informing the two ladies working the desk, about the discovery and my dissatisfaction. The response was condescending, rude, and unprofessional. As I informed about the smell, the response was ," Oookay ", like what you want me to do about it. As i was explaining the other conditions of the area I was met with rude looks, unprofessional response, alot of bad attitude, to the pont of me having to ask ," what is going on ?" I then stated, " you all are showing extreme frustration and it seems like there is a huge problem with giving the proper assistance to your guest ". Just to add, at that same time , another guest was at the front desk, saying to the other lady behind the desk, that his wife and himself could not stay there due to the same situtaion of the mildew smell and the rudeness and unprofessionalism of the encounter with the two ladies at the front desk. I have already been driving for hours and just want to get to my room, I then asked if there was another room that I can possibly look at and acquire. The response, with an attitude, was, " I don't have any other rooms ", but proceeded to click the keyboard and find another room. I was given a room on the opposite side of the hotel, which smelled slightly better with more of a chemical scent, but bearable. The bed was horrible. The bed was like a thin pad which had a huge dip in the center, as if a barrel was placed on the bed to make a permanent dip. Also, throughout the night , I was awakened by strong smells of cigarette smoke flooding my room, due to other guest smoking outside. I am a NONSMOKER. The next morning, I informed the morning front desk employees of my experience, which they apologized for. Upon hearing my complaints about the encounter i had with their coworkers, the looks that they were giving each other , spoke volume , insinuating that they already knew whom i was speaking of and my complaints were accurate. They began to explain of current repairs being made in specific areas of the hotel due to roof damage and the rain is not making anything easier. I was then immediately offered to be moved to another room, which I accepted and due to me heading out , I was told that I would be given a call once my room is fully inspected and cleaned properly. I was pleased with their concern, professionalism, and immediate response to my complaints, which I Thanked them for. Stayed in the new appointed room, checked out immediately at sunrise. Will not ever stay at this hotel again nor will it be recommended. This hotel has definitely gone downhill. The two ladies that worked on that Friday evening , after 5pm , between 6pm and 7pm was my encounter, definitely need an ethics and...

So I decided to drive through the night to deal with less traffic.. personal choice. I was already getting tired to a point I know I need some sleep before continuing to my destination. Tampa, Fl.

So I decide let me go ahead and stop here.. seems nice and the room is fairly priced.

The bed was super comfortable and I slept great!

But the part below needs to be addressed by management.

I arrived at 6am.. now I don’t usually rent rooms if anything I’ll sleep in my truck but decided “hey, I don’t ever just get my self a comfortable bed so for once why not.”

Well when I got here I was met by a heavier set white lady with curly hair, initially polite until I asked her if I could rent a room.. lord forbid I ask you to do your job.. the polite lady I was happy to see cause of how tired I was flipped the script and was visibly bothered by my presence. Her movements were even agitated.. I was bothered and I asked what’s the problem with someone checking in at this time? Like is there a legit issue checking in right now?

She tells me no but you will have to pay early check in and usually people check in at 3pm.

I kept my cool and just said hey that’s fine with me. I wasn’t going to change my mind about getting a room if one was available.

She continued to do the check in process and was just rude. Even when I explained I drove all night and said to her sorry if I’m the worst guest checking in so early.. truly apologizing cause I don’t want to be a bother to anyone... and trying to lighten the mood.. she just rolled her eyes and said nothing else.

I would understand if you don’t have a room, but if that’s not the case check me in! Be polite, be understanding and move on keep your attitude at home. There is no place for it here.

You chose a job to be in hospitality show the care and compassion for others.. and as someone who works in health care…even if it was something I didn’t want to do I don’t show that to my patients I always give them care and compassion no matter what…because they matter!

Management please help correct this, so future guest have a...
