Camped here end of July and it was beautiful by the lake although it was extremely windy. It’s 4 miles of dirt bumpy road so take your time getting in. The camp host, Kat, was such a sweet heart who checked on us multiple times to see if we were ok. Bathrooms were always so clean and never smelled. Probably the cleanest camp bathrooms we’ve been in. Camp sites are very rocky not really any shade. 10 was nice up on the lake had a lot of open space -no shade. 11 had no shade whatsoever and it was extremely rocky with boulders but we made it work with two tents. 12 was small, secluded and wedged between trees. Overall we got the 3 sites but hubbed at site 10 with our 10 adults and 3 kids. Lake was nice didn’t look too dirty. It was way too windy to fish or paddle board but we enjoyed being right on the lake. It’s a little bumpy walking down to the lake on the boulders so bring some hiking/real shoes.
