Relax Inn - Folkston — Hotel in Folkston

So I stayed here several nights only to wake up in the middle of the night and see several cochroaches. As I had already paid for my stay upfront, she refused to return my money. What's worse is that she quoted one price on the phone but then added $75 to the price when I got there. Not only that l, but when I asked for a late checkout she attempted to charge me $35 to check out 2 hours later. Then as I told her no, she walked down to the room and steadily went down from $35 until her last offer was $15 and by then I was already getting in my car to leave. Additionally. if I was to have any other company to go in the pool I would have to pay $3.50 per person for them to be allowed in. She argued with me when I was leaving telling me that every other hotel would also charge me to check out late. The rooms per night run about $55 she was going to charge me over half of that to check out late. I am appalled at the way they run their business and how they treat their guests. (If I could give a negative score I would and for that matter I don't know how they stay in business.) The towels were disgusting, as well as the floors. Best advice: DO NOT WASTE YOUR...

This place is a very descent stay for the price that you pay. The owners are kind and they are respectful of their guests. Even ones that are loud or rude 5hwy try to deal with correctly.the week + that I ha e stayed here and previous stays here have all been acceptable and sometimes above expectations. The rooms are clean and are constantly being upgraded as far as I can tell. I ha e always recommended this place 5o out of Towner's when I worked at the local wildlife refuge here. Because for a place to sleep and shower and be comfortable and relax it's the best larger hotel we have here in little Folkston. I have had bad experiences with both of the other motels here. Thanks tors Bonnie and her husband they are running this little place by just themselves. They are busy people and are very good to their guests. We all have bad days so don't take some of these reviews so seriously. But know that they are a good place to go stay...

Stopped in here to spend the night, what a BIG Mistake. Room was disgustingly filthy, had what looked like blood splattered on the walls. Toilet moved when you sat on it, felt things crawling on me the whole time I was there. Had dirty linens on beds that had just been turned wrong side out and put back on the bed, did not even apologize when I said they were dirty and ask for clean ones. The ones they gave me stunk like bad body odor. Owner sells beer from her room for $1 a can, is beer left by people she threw out. Refrigerator is so dirty did not want to use it, freezer was froze solid could not use it!||Pool is black on the bottom, falling apart with bugs floating everywhere.
