Pine Crest Inn — Hotel in Folsom

This was the worst possible service I have ever gotten at a hotel. For one you’d think the hotel you could swim in their poool but no its not open to the public yet the owners have pool party’s here & have their friends come. 2 the room I was in their were no towels thankfully I brought my own, there was no shower curtain for the shower & the pillows were terrible. 3 We had to go ask the people for a vaccuum & because the floor was so dirty from when someone else was there before us. There we’re higs everywhere. There were spiders I even found one on the bed. There’s so many other things that were wrong with this place!! & even the people that like live here said that they don’t even change the sheets on the beds anymore. So disgusting. I will never be going back here...

My wife and I just drove up from Virginia, and parked alongside the office door, and saw a sign that read, "Ring Bell. Be back in 15 minutes". What we found out from a resident there is that you ring the bell and the manager comes from home. We rang the bell and waited longer than 15 minutes. In the meantime, we looked around and decided it wasn't the kind of place we would be comfortable staying in. It didn't look kept up. We left before the manager showed up, if he ever did, and drove the rest of the way home. When we got home I looked up the "Pinecrest Motel" on the internet and read from past guests about their experiences with bed bugs running around under the sheets, and waking up to bed bug bites in the morning. My wife and I went to this motel thinking it was clean enough to stay for that Friday night. The guy showed us the room and althought it was a little smelly it was clean enough to stay. We left our luggage and went to Atlantic City. When we came back around 2am to go to sleep, once we open the bed sheets THERE WERE BED BUGSSS CRAWLING ALL OVER THE BED. So we picked everything extra carefully, called the manager and told him about the huge inconvenient but for some reason he didn't seem very surprised and offered me another room but we did not take any other room.
