I am an educated, professional 45 year old woman. I am in the service business. We have been coming to the River for 20 years and specifically to Sundance for the last 6 years, give or take.||||5 years ago I would have recommended Sundance RV without a second's thought. We had a spot with Sundance, riverfront, for 3 years with zero complaints. Over the last several years, though, the place has become a complete crapshoot.||||Not because of location - the location is great. ||Bathrooms - typically very clean||Prices - expensive but if you are wanting a quality experience, it used to be worth the price.||||There are three reasons why you should consider NOT giving Sundance your business, today:||||1. Their customer service is horrendous||2. The location is no longer safe with a family||3. They over-charge and even fraudulently make charges on your account.||||The management and staff are absolutely horrific. Not only do they treat you like second class citizens, but they over-charge without documentation and can't keep their documents straight to save their lives.||||Try to get a pizza or beer at the restaurant - you will be treated like you are burden.||||Be aware if you schedule a spot - we have shown up when we were supposed to have been spotted and after a 5 hour drive been told - NOPE, we didn't have it on the schedule (even though we called the week before to confirm). ||||Then they tried to charge us several months later for that exact event - when we had to go stay in a hotel and drive home the next day because they didn't have another spot available.....||||Now...let's talk about the people they let come into the site. The last time we were spotted and stayed (we typically stay for 30 days at a time when we come).....the neighboring people were blaring their music well into the night (I'm talking 1am), when we asked the neighbors to turn it down, there was almost a physical altercation (we are in our 50's - they were in their mid-20s - early 30s)....we asked for Sundance to assist if there were issues the next day and they pretty much told us to pound sand.||||This place has really gone to hell in a handbasket.||||I would highly advise going to Havasu Springs Resort...
Read moreWe rented a park model home that we were interested in purchasing for the month of March. The "front" of the park near the highway is very well kept with newer amenities and nicely groomed grounds. The pool is beautiful, clean and spacious. Unfortunately everything else was a disappointment. The young woman in the office clearly needs a new career as she has no social skills whatsoever. We had to interact with her on several different occasions and each time we felt like we were a huge inconvenience. A good many of the park models in the rear are old and have fallen into disrepair. The management allows tarps and other temporary structures to be used at individual sites which makes the whole area appear trashy. We understand that covid has presented challenges, but this didn't happen just in the past few months. We met only a handful of friendly people during our stay and moved out long before our month was over. Of all the RV resorts we considered for ownership this was the most expensive one and in my opinion, definitely not worth it. Probably okay for a few days if you don't mind parking next to the highway, aren't looking to make friends, and want...
Read moreI am not a fan of Yuma to begin with, so if you are, you can pass by this report.||Typical 'parking lot' RV park with gravel sites and a small cement 'patio' with some trees in some sites. All sites have full services, but they are at the BACK of the lots. If your rig has center or front services, bring power, hose and sewer extensions. There is no sani-dump on site, so you better have enough sewer hose to reach the back of your site. I needed 20', as did many of the rest in the park. Water pressure is also quite high, so you may need a pressure reducer between the tap and your rig.||Sites are more or less level, but cramped. Clubhouse bathrooms and showers are decent, and the park as a whole is clean. It is close to Hwy 8 and traffic noise, but mercifully well away from the train line.||Pool is really nice, but the pool area also serves as the 'stage' for local talent. Some entertainers are OK, others less so. :-) The problem is that if you want to use the pool while the entertainment is on, YOU are in the middle of the viewing area. Better not be shy. :-) ||At $40/night, I had...
